Does anyone know if they are still sending out messages about this as I have still heard nothing. I do know I was offered the one plan very close to the date that they were stopping it. So I am just presuming that I am on the one with unlimited teathering

I had a letter about 3 days ago from Three telling me which plan they'd be putting me on from 6th Jan unless I called them to discuss other options.

It's an ongoing process according to Three, the people with the 5th Jan date were only the first tranche, another group will be contacted soon with a date in Feb, (and so on) as it was explained to me.

What plan is/was that that they said they would put you on?

600 mins, unlimited texts, unlimited on-device data and 4GB tethering. I've switched that to the 200 minute plan.

I expect it will be as you pass the minimum term point, if they change it before the minimum term then they could be liable to pay for any extra costs you incur due to their change of the contract terms.

Three really shot themselves in foot when they released the one plan, the 3g network was/is never capable of that kind of data.

I'm on the One Plan but no text yet :-/

I believe they got rid of tethering on the new packages so maybe its something like that

My contract expires in a few weeks, and I still have not heard anything from them.

That's annoying. I also got the text on a monthly rolling contract but haven't rung yet. Use about 30gb per month tethered as sole internet access, so need to find separate broadband and mobile alternatives and leave three.

I don't understand the rationale for unlimited data on a phone, but limited via tethering. Data use is the same (ex windows updates etc) and with 4G phones it's likely mobile-based data use will accelerate much faster than home-based.

My max 3G tethered speed is only about 3mbps anyway so switching to a 4g phone would likely increase not decrease data use. So I don't now trust three to stick to proposed mobile ayce terms anyway.
Have you moved yet to separate broadband and mobile alternatives, if so who would you recommend?

It's supposedly a rolling program to transfer people onto the new plans, you might hear from them quickly, you might not.
