Are you all aware of this blog/forum? (I posted a question seeking clarification re: The One Plan, SIM-only - my post was visible for about an hour, it then disappeared. It reappeared the following day. All posts need to 'cleared' by the moderators apparently.

I am still awaiting a reply to my latest question from a moderator.
I use the One Plan for tethering - my useage is between 15 and 35 GB per month
I used more in the first months of signing-up, I was experimenting with uploading backups to various Cloud providers, OneDrive etc.
Here is the second post (just in case 3 Mobile don't include it in the blog).
Thanks for the response - apologies for the misunderstanding
My initial post, seeking clarification, was visible for approx fifty minutes, it was then 'disappeared'.
My subsequent posts (two posts, different email addresses) did not appear on the blog at all - I imagined that my IP address had been blocked.
I issued two formal complaints to 3 Mobile (regarding the first post which had been removed after fifty minutes, and the two subsequent posts which did not appear at all).
In my initial feedback enquiry I was seeking clarification regarding my contract (The One Plan).
This blog has been very confusing - up until very recently users/customers on The One Plan have been re-assured that the terms and conditions would remain the same when the contract minimum period ended (IE, ROLLING CONTRACT - WHICH IS WHAT I WAS TOLD IN THE 3 STORE WHEN I SIGNED UP - SAME PRICE, SAME TERMS AND CONDITIONS).
It seems the rules have changed - when the One Plan contract expires we will have to look elswhere (in my case, I will sign up elsewhere for landline/cable broadband).
You asked:
'Can you let me know where on the Three website you were quoting from in your comment?'
THE INFO WAS FROM HERE (the top of this blog, 3 Mobile authorised info):

QUESTIONS YOU’VE BEEN ASKING ABOUT OUR NEW 24 MONTH PLANS.
Is there anyway I can keep my unlimited Personal Hotspot or “tethering”?
Yes. If you are a customer on The One Plan – the only plan that offers unlimited Personal Hotspot – then you will continue to enjoy unlimited tethering for the duration of your current plan.
At the end of the minimum term of your current contract, you have two options:
1) Continue on your existing contract on a “rolling” basis, with your existing allowance.
2) Downgrade to a SIM Only plan which includes All-you-can-eat data with tethering (The One Plan is still available on a SIM only basis).
When I signed up I was told that the contract would be a rolling contract, same price, same T&C's after 12 months (MIS-SELLING/MIS-REPRESENTATION?).
I will follow this up with OFCOM - I'm probably onto a loser, but I honestly did think that having signed up for The One Plan, the contract was a 'rolling contract SAME PRICE, SAME TERMS AND CONDITIONS).
PS:
I have been a 3 Mobile customer since 2010 (mainly mobile broadband).0 -
Its a long post and its not clear what your point is?
Three can change the plan as they see fit under the t&c. You then have 2 options:
1. Leave.
2. Accept the change and stay with 3.0 -
From the info at the top of the blog - (quoted directly by 3 Mobile):

Option 1) is my preferred option - it seems that it is no longer being offered.
Have I misunderstood:

I can now see that the statements probably apply to contracts which include handsets - my contract is SIM-only.
I had already phoned 3 Mobile twice on Friday afternoon - I was given two different answers. One representantive told me that I would be able to stay on the One Plan when my contract expires, the other said that I would have to find an alternative provider/plan.
I had been following the 3 blog for a about a month, the last time I visited it, the mods were confirming the rolling contract option, the info has now changed.0 -

The above was true at the time it was written, unfortunately you can't really expect what was said months ago to be the same for ever more.
However annoying it is, Three have the right to remove price plans, as long as you have the right to terminate the agreement and move without penalty if you don't like the change you have no recourse.====0 -
I am on the one plan on a rolling one month contract £15. I have not yet received a message, i take it they are doing it in batches, has anyone had any luck in getting a good deal on another unlimited internet plan either with or without a phone as i could do with an upgrade but not essential0

If the info that I copied and pasted from the 3 blog (today) is no longer correct then 3 Mobile ought to correct it.
I accept the fact that the One Plan is being ended. My contract is 12 months and there is no mention in it of what happens at the end of the 12 months. What I was told in the store when I signed up was meaningless (ie, that my contract would continue on a rolling basis).
What I am finding extremely irritating is the lack of clarity re: the info being handed out, both on the blog and by 3 Customer Service reps.0 -

You can have any current price plan on the Three website, sim only or you can take out a handset contract. Three have said nothing else is available, and no discounts carried forward or given. I've queried them with why some of the early callers to the 0800 number appeared to have got discouted rates on some of the new sim only plans. If the info that I copied and pasted from the 3 blog (today) is no longer correct then 3 Mobile ought to correct it.

It's a blog, that's how they work. If you want the T&Cs you need to go to the actual website, and not read their blog.====0 -

If you are looking for Unlimited Handset Data, for around £15 a month then check out Now Mobile, they have an unlimited data handset plan, along with 500 minutes and 1000 texts for £15, this is on PAYG so no contract, just top up for the allowance as required.
http://www.nowpayg.co.uk/
Now Mobile use the EE network, so make sure there is a good EE service in your area
EE offers a SIM Only deal with 10GB data per month and unlimited minutes and texts. Its not the unlimited that you asked for, but at least the 10gb of Data can be shared between Handset and tethering use, so it may be useful for those who want to tether more than 4GB a month. Its expensive at £27.99 a month, but some of that cost can be mitigated via Quidco cashback.
Other than that the only other options are a dedicated mobile broadband sim with 10gb - 15gb allowances.0 -
