Why would your name be mentioned - are you known for giving women unsolicited comments?
And if so, has reading this thread and how (most) women feel about this not made you have second thoughts for the future?

Absolutely. In the context of being in a bar, actually talking about something else seems to be slightly less artificial, though. And even then, there can still be some real creeps -but at least there are bar and door staff there, unlike when you're on your way home, shopping, going to work, etc.
