Well done BB on hitting your target.

Still plodding on here, pay day so put another £20 in. :)

Just remembered I've got the first 'free' council tax month so I've transferred another £37.50 in to the EF fund and some money into my car tyre fund too. :D

  • Hi folks, just popping in to say a huge well done to you all. Its so lovely to see those funds growing..., or been used, for what they where intended for.

No more to add, as I get paid monthly and next payday is bonus month ....so I'm getting excited as next Monday I will have my £1000, hopefully £2500 so will be moving to the 3 months salary thread (£9000 target)

But, I will still keep popping on here as it's so inspiring and a huge thank you to Patman for running this thread

Payday in 3 days. Will have to see how much the time I had off after my dad's death has had on my hours. Hopefully my boss will allow some of the days to be taken as compasionate leave rather than paid holidays.

I have started to do surveys again as I need to raise over £400 in order to pay for next year's silver wedding anniversary holiday, so have an aim to go for

  • Hi,

Feel a bit weird posting here, I got my emergency fund, I received a PPI payment and with the insurance from a car accident I now have a emergency fund of 2000 pounds.

    It does feel strange!
