Buffy, it is not strange at all. If you have another account handy, you could transfer £1k to it to kick-start a 3-6 month salary fund and join DH's thread.

Well my EF is down £300 after some car repairs but I'm not going to complain as that's what it's for! Best start building it back up again...0

I have now got my £1000 EF :T
I've also update my sig and put another £60 into the vet EF which now stands at £320.
I would just like to thank everyone for been so encouraging and a special thanks to Patman for running this thread. I am moving on to the 3 month challenge now, but will keep popping in here to see how you are all getting on, if that's ok.

Woo-hoo! Just received a refund for a delayed train journey (I'd forgotten I had written to them) so my EF is up £75.0

Every little helps.
Have rounded down the pennies into my EF and a £10 into my 3-6 month fund.
Also, had my first DMP payment go out but have yet to be sent the login details needed to manage my account. Must contact SC when I get back from funeral no. 1 tommorrow.Never Knowingly Understood.

Still seems a long way to go but nice to know got some money if even small to fall back on.
