Kept slowly adding to my EF, rounding down bank account and a little bit of overtime, balance now stands at £545.28. Thought I had another OT shift that should have been paid, will check when I am back in work next week. You have to be on the ball in my works otherwise OT payments can go astray. :(

    Welcome. Your number is 182.
We are slowly creaking towards the 200 mark. Not bad considering I thought we would be lucky to get 25 of us in the challenge.

Anyway, onwards and upwards. Got to find out how much time I can get as compassionate leave as my employers have no policy on this.

I guess that I am going to have to work a few Saturday mornings in order to make up enough hours to allow me to take time off for 2 funerals as unpaid leave. So far am going to need to make up 5 hours for my M-in-L's funeral.

A Saturday morning 4 hour shift equates to 6 paid hours when o/t rates are applied, so I reckon 2 - 3 Saturdays will cover both nicely *and if I get the funerals as CL, the extra cash will go partly towards my 3-6 month ef and to pay for my Silver Wedding anniversary holiday next year).
