Hello diary.
Last month I forgot to read the meters so I had an estimated gas and leccy bill (which was well off the mark) for much more than usual. My own fault for not remembering.
The payment is taken by direct debit, so I let it go through.
Got this months bill (with correct readings on it) and we're now a tenner in credit which they're paying us at the end of the month :j
So no payment due this month, means I can use the money towards paying the credit cards :j
I'm a very happy bunny :jHistoric Debt August 2009 = £63,600 10th March 2017 = £0 100% paid all gone!
Mortgage started June 2015 = £170,000 January 2022 = £134,000

Good morning diary
Well it's nearly the end of the month and it seems everybody wants money for something
Good thing is it's almost the last half term of school, next academic year all the nursery and travel costs should go down

Hello diary.
Well it's the last day of the month and we've ended up on more debt than at the start of the month - again!
I really need to get tough next month, we went out for a family dinner yesterday with parents, cost us over £80
It was the first time we've been out to a restaurant this year so I suppose if you divide it over 5 months it doesn't seem as bad. Kids had a lovely time, I just won't take them anywhere this half term (apart from the park)
Will pay some bills and work out how much is left debt wise while I have breakfastHistoric Debt August 2009 = £63,600 10th March 2017 = £0 100% paid all gone!

CC1 £735
CC2 £3885
SC £86
Total amount owed £4,706
Well it's gone down a teeny bit from last month.

Good morning diary
Well it's a new month and we've been paid :j so I've decided to pay a bit off one of the credit cards (I don't get the bill for another couple of days so probably should have waitedwould have covered next months minimum payment)
Feel a bit better as the balance on that card stands at a nice round £500 now today
Got some extra money coming in later in the month so am going to hopefully use that to take a chunk out of the other card.
Also need to wipe the eighty odd quid off the store card (bought a new buggy and some pressies on 3 months interest free)
Still ploughing through the overtime, so that is an added benefit every monthHistoric Debt August 2009 = £63,600 10th March 2017 = £0 100% paid all gone!

Good morning diary
Well I decided to pay off the store card so the balance on that is now zero
Paid a bit more off the bigger credit card, just for the sake of it
Am trying my hardest to make sure debt sits below £4K for the end of this month, gonna be hard as DH overtime has now stopped
Beans on toast it is for the next month thenHistoric Debt August 2009 = £63,600 10th March 2017 = £0 100% paid all gone!

Good morning diary
Hey DB, I always sneak a little cheese in with the beans on toast, will probably splash out on some beans and sausages though to add variety
Hey Abba, hope you're enjoying your new housewe've been here a year now and I still look around our fabulous new house with a smile, I still can't believe we actually live here.
We got the tax credits renewal letter today and it looks like our payments are going up by £25 a week, until August
I double and triple checked the letter and it looks like the calculation is reasonably correct
Just had another look and the first payment should be in the bank today  managed to miss that bit!
Looks like an extra credit card payment may be on the cards this week :T
Unfortunately the payments then drop by £45 a week after August
Suppose it gives me a chance to batter the credit cards down now and plan ahead for the summerHistoric Debt August 2009 = £63,600 10th March 2017 = £0 100% paid all gone!

Just used all the extra money in the bank to pay off the smaller credit card
Going to see if I can actually end the month with zero left on it
Gonna try my hardest to end this month £1,000 less than last month :j
Haven't left us short, still have £500 to get us through to the end of the month (plus my overdraft if we need it)Historic Debt August 2009 = £63,600 10th March 2017 = £0 100% paid all gone!
