Hopefully it will lead to more money, just have to wait and see what I'm now offered :)

    Good morning diary :)
Well I logged onto my credit card last night and was shocked to see it had £750 on it
Car needed service and mot, house insurance was paid for the year, online shopping, fuel, parking, bus fares.... It all adds up eventually :(
So now I feel I'm back to square one, I really didn't want the card to get so high :(
On the plus side I think most major bills are paid for a while, childcare fees are covered until September, the car is deemed roadworthy and the house is insured :)
Sat down and worked out how much extra we'd have per month when I start my new job in a few weeks and it's a couple of hundred quid :j hoping to get extra hours as well provided I'm not too shattered :)
Right, better get the kids out of bed and will have a sit down later to see just how much of this £750 I can pay off :)

    Good morning diary :)
Well I took a deep breath this morning and paid £100 off the larger credit card.
I also paid £840 off the other card to clear the balance, including a few bits that had gone on it since the bill came in.
Unfortunately that credit card will go back up again this month :( as the car insurance is due for renewal and we pay it annually as its slightly cheaper.
Hopefully all these horrible big bills will be out of the way soon, they all seem to be coming at once at the moment :(

    You are doing well dipdap

make sure you compare renewal prices for car insurance, even if you don't go elsewhere, it gives you leverage for negotiations. Always using TCB too - factor the savings in and your current provider may be able to match it ;)

    CC2 £3844

    Total amount owed £4,651

    Meh! :(
Feel like this debt is going nowhere :(
Paid off the £800 odd credit card but it will probably be back at that level at the end of the month as the car insurance is due :(
DH managed to get a parking ticket  so had to find £25 to pay for that as well :(

    Hello diary :)
New job started today :j it's been a really hard day as I don't cope with change very well :o but onwards and upwards, we need the money! (I'm getting paid more :j)
Got a cheque coming next week for a few hundred quid, got a bonus payout coming :j so will use it to pay for the car insurance :)
I'm determined to have the outstanding debt under £4K at the end of this month :)

    Hello diary :)
I hold 2 credit cards (one is currently empty, the other is used but paid off) and the limits are £4,000 and £4,500
At least they were until today, I rang up and got them reduced to £500 and £1,000 :j
One is an Amex and I use that very rarely when a good cash back deal comes up so haven't got rid of it yet, the other is a cashback card so is still getting used on day to day spending to clock up some extra money for Christmas.
Would love to get rid of these cards completely at some time in the future :)
Hopefully the lower limits will help my credit file look good in the future :)

    Good morning diary :)
Well my cheque is still clearing through my bank account so I can't pay my credit card yet :(
Got an email last night to say the car tax is due :( had forgotten about that
Why is it everyone always wants money? I swear just as I get a month when I think we're OK, someone else is there with their hand out!
At least school is finished so childcare and extra curricular activities have stopped for a while (saves us some cash!) :)
