Good evening diary
Still, waiting for my cheque to clear through. Really want to make a payment on this horrible credit card
Good news, were on course to have debt below £4K at the end of the month :j
Still, struggling to settle into my new jobI'm not sure if it's for me
Going to have to wait for the first pay check to see just how big a difference the money is, I may be feeling a bit better after paydayHistoric Debt August 2009 = £63,600 10th March 2017 = £0 100% paid all gone!
Mortgage started June 2015 = £170,000 January 2022 = £134,000

Hello diary
I just paid £640 off that awful credit card  but I do feel good for it :j
I think there's currently about £50 now on it (pending payments)
Logged on to the other card and found out it has nearly £900 on 0% due to be paid by mid October, so that will be fun to find. The rest of the balance (£2,800) is due just after Christmas.
Had my new payslip today, looks like I'm getting an extra £300 a month :j so that will go towards debt clearing :j
Only bad side is it looks like our tax credits will go down to virtually nothing, but we will copemore money is good in the long run
I will have a breakdown of debts owing for the last day of the month, fingers crossed its just that one credit card outstanding now, I know the debt will be below £4K so that's keeping me happy :jHistoric Debt August 2009 = £63,600 10th March 2017 = £0 100% paid all gone!

Hello diary
I'm working all day tomorrow so I've worked out the debts for the end of this month a day early
CC1 £0
CC2 £3,600
Total amount owed £3,600
I know it's not worth grinning too much over but that first card is now at zero (again) and the total owed overall is below £4K
:j I'm dead chuffed and going into August with renewed enthusiasm :jHistoric Debt August 2009 = £63,600 10th March 2017 = £0 100% paid all gone!

Hey DB
The figure would have been a bit better, but we treated the kids to a 2 day trip to Altontowers
We haven't had a proper holiday since 2012and it ended up costing us just over £500 for everything (hotel, tickets, food and extras) but the kids had a fantastic time. Rollercoaster restaurant wasn't cheap!
Sometimes a break is needed, otherwise there's nothing to look forward tooshame it cost so flaming much though  :rotfl:

Good evening diary
Well I updated the tax credits people on our income and am now waiting to see how much were entitled to for the rest of the year (I'm assuming nothing so anything is a bonus!)
Have paid £300 off the only remaining debt we now have, the other credit card is now no longer in use and this one is just waiting to be cleared.
Hoping we can permanently stop using them now
£3,300 to clear by the end of the year, hopefully we can do it :jHistoric Debt August 2009 = £63,600 10th March 2017 = £0 100% paid all gone!

Good morning diary
Waiting for tomorrow to come around so I can pay £100 off the credit card.
Got some money coming in and am itching to get another payment off that card.
Will sit on my hands for the day today so I don't pay it early and go into my overdraftHistoric Debt August 2009 = £63,600 10th March 2017 = £0 100% paid all gone!
