    Morning diary :)
Most bills paid now, need to sit down today and check everything is out of the way and write up a new spreadsheet for this month.
2 days until I can pay a chunk off this credit card. Was hoping I'd have it paid off by the end of June but I can't see that happening now as we keep using it :o
Hoping debts drop below the magic £20k figure on the 7th, as that's when the next loan payment is due.
    Historic Debt August 2009 = £63,600 10th March 2017 = £0 100% paid all gone!
    Mortgage started June 2015 = £170,000 January 2022 = £134,000
    Saving for Xmas 2022= . . Amazon £55

Just had a phone call from the solicitors to say they're ready to exchange contracts, so the next phone call I get will be to tell us contracts are exchanged :j

  • Brilliant news so you'll soon be a MFW eh! That's our aim this year too to buy a house .....however we'd like to move in the summer and we're nowhere near as organised as you. We still have to find the house, never mind buy it :rotfl:

Countdown to being debt-free now then as Dobbibill says :D:j

    Morning diary :)
Just finished a gruelling night of work :(
New page means new to do list but think I'll do that later on today after a nice long sleep :)

    - Get debts below £20k (almost there :j)

    - Close one of my credit cards (this probably won't happen until July now)

    - Work out exactly how much we need to shell out on completion (just waiting for the solicitors final bill)

    - Write up my CV :) (I need to earn more money :D)
