    Good evening diary :)

    £3.98 on diy
    £1.86 on Xmas pressies
£42.64 on food (but a tenner of this was on a birthday cake and about 20 quid was on booze :D )
    £6.00 on shoes

Total spend for today = £53.78

Had a lovely day shopping, picked up some bits not listed above :)
Got a pair of £15 shoes with my next gift cards.
Picked up a DS game one of the kids wants for Xmas with trade in credit from DH old DVDs :)
Ordered a top and paid using cashback in my paypal account.

Traded in what looks to be the last of the games no longer played on.
Think we've nearly got enough credit to order the kids pressie :j

    Good afternoon diary :)
DH has a day off work so we used it rather productively (not!) to go look at houses.
It's one of those things I love doing but wish we hadn't :( it depresses us that we can't move now :( but it also kicks us up the bum to do stuff on this place (DH ripped up the rest of the old kitchen floor when we got back :j )
Now to win the lottery so we can buy the £400k house we saw :D

keep up the good work, the motivation will spur you on and when you do move you will appreciate all the hard work you put into it.

failing that the lottery win will sort it all out :T :T :T

kids happy on Christmas Day, you have got to be excited with the MSE :money: side of it. Happiness does not necessarily mean spend loads, preparing is the key

    Hey DB.
I'm so proud of us for getting their pressie sorted :)
We have told them not to expect what they asked for because it is expensive and they know we want to move. They're good as gold though and have told us a house is more important and they will be happy with whatever they get, such good kids, I'm so proud of the attitude :j
I worked out it actually cost us about £25 recently for new games as we managed to get hold of some new games nice and cheap (which is how we got hold of their old games for trade in).
We also played the game shops against each other so got best prices for trade in :D
Now I need to find some cheap games for the new console :)
