How often do you see your (adult) children when they're not living with you?

I live about 90 miles away from my parents, I'm 35 and see them about 6 weeks or so on average.

My parents live about a five minute walk away and I see them at least 4 times a week because on three of those days they take my children to school and back while I work.. My husband doesn't see them very often as its me doing the drop offs.

I live about 100 miles away from my parents... I am 26. Can't remember when I last saw them! :eek: Maybe Easter???? Speak on the phone a lot but we have all been busy. Going back for a week in October though. So maybe I see them 4-5 times a year? Would like more but they don't tend to travel to London! :rotfl:

I live with my Dad at the moment, however when we lived in separate countries, it was once every 8-12 weeks and we spoke on the phone 4-5 times a week

I live 10 miles from my parents, I don't drive so I get the bus, which takes about an hour (two buses). I go once every 2-3 weeks.

DD1 lives 400 miles away - see her about twice a year for a week or a weekend. DD2 has been travelling for 5 years, saw her May for 3 weeks and she's in Canada until June 15. Do talk to DD2 daily on Facebook. DD1 doesn't do social media so it's phone calls.

My parents lived 200 miles away. Saw them 2 or 3 times a year until my dad got ill then saw him 4/5 times a week for about a year until he died. I do cherish that year.

DH used to live walking distance from his parents - saw them at elast weekly. Now 12 miles away we see them once or twice a month and until he started full time work this month was speaking to them daily.

Have some form of phone or email contact with my parents on weekly basis and probably see once a month (they are not together). I used to have more contact with mum pre marriage but things got funny over wedding planning and the habit got lost. Now first grandson is very hopefully on his way she plans to see us weekly.

Mum lives about 40 min drive away, Dad is maybe 15 mins depending on traffic.
