I'm thinking of people who don't live very far apart from each other.
Would be interested to hear any responses.

I live 5 miles from my mum (I'm 22) and I aim to see her once or twice a week. Sometimes less, sometimes more. It just depends how busy we both are.
I've seen her more recently as my childhood dog died two weeks ago so she and my stepdad have this new found freedom and not a lot to do with it.Our Rainbow Twins born 17th April 2016

Before I had my children, I saw my parents probably once a month - I am in South London, they are in North London - but now it is every other week.0

Not all that familiar with London. How far apart do you live and/or how long would it take you to travel there?3 stone down, 3 more to go0 -

I live about an hours drive from my dad and step mum. I see them every 6 weeks or so. We do stay in very regular contact and up to date with each others lives via phone, email, facebook etc.The best day of your life is the one on which you decide your life is your own, no apologies or excuses. No one to lean on, rely on or blame. The gift is yours - it is an amazing journey - and you alone are responsible for the quality of it. This is the day your life really begins.0

I see my Mum and Dad weekly usually unless there is a birthday or something special - they live 10 miles away now. When they lived 300 miles away it was every 2 months-ish in the school hols but we stayed for 3-7 days. I see my adult daughter who lives 5 miles away about once a week or sometimes two weeks if they are away at the weekend. I see student daughter (300 miles away) about three times a year when she comes home."'Cause it's a bittersweet symphony, this life
