Tired of arguments

  • I would cut your losses. Its hard, it hurts and its expensive to do but you will feel a lot better after doing so, and you will find someone who appreciates you and makes you feel special and gives you butterflies when you see them - good luck
  • I can handle the arguments with my missus, in fact the more heated & aggressive the better.

It's the silence in between them that spooks me.

I think when people argue about the small stuff all the time, there are deeper issues going on.

I dont think these two should be together, it sounds like they really made a huge mistake in getting married.

I think you should reread the thread you started back in July.

It's pretty much the same as you've said here.

Are you going to post about the same issues between you and your wife every couple of months?

I don't mind if you do that :) , but my point is that you are not addressing the problems in a way that is likely to result in a resolution.

It really does sound like you are chalk and cheese and although the old saying says 'opposites attract', in your case, sadly I feel there is no common ground and very little respect between you both.

pollycat is right, you need give and take, patience and understanding, is your wife not resentful of you working away 3 months at a time? Does she feel lonely? Would she prefer you to be working locally? Is that possible?

  • It sounds like she resents you working away to me. Absence makes the heart grow fonder or out of sight out of mind? I think a lot of time apart can break a relationship unless you both put an effort in when you are home.

Maybe. OTOH maybe constant harping over housework is doing her nut, and OP needs to find ways to just let it go, by whatever means neccessary, before they can both move on. For some reason he isn't saying he wants a divorce. 2 sides, and all that.

He did say in one of his posts he would ask her for a divorce.
