My partner managed to speak to someone about his jump contract. They said the contract still stands, that it would cease after the contract runs out and that if he wanted too he could jump again. Er, no thanks!
I am on the jump contract too but will be challenging it as I am paying for a premium service which through no fault of my own can no longer be honored by the provider, I wont be able to jump again I assume and will have no handset provider when my contract is up? surely this is a breach of their own contract?0 -
P4U were profitable, had cash in the bank but cannot continue trading as they have nothing left to sell (or rather, have nothing apart from EE contracts until next September, then nothing if what we are reading is correct). That being the case, there remains hope, though as claims may take 24 months from the contract start to be claimed, then it is a long time to wait to find out and worry!
Although they say they were profitable and have cash in the bank, it has also been said that they have more debt secured on the company than cash in the bank. As ever, consumers will be at the back of the line when it comes to whatever money, if any, is left at the end.0 -
Unfortunately I had to take my phone to the shop on Friday as I could not make or receive calls. The shop was unable to get it working so it had to be sent away. Although I have a tracking number of course the website is offline so I don't know if is still in the shop or has been sent away. I guess I will just have to wait and see if I am contacted. Very sad for the staff as they have always been so helpful.0

From the BBC site:Customers whose phones are being repaired can call 0844 8712269. Their repairs will be completed with the phone being sent back to their home address rather than a store.0 -
Thank you. I expect they will be very busy so I'll be patient and wait a day or so.0

I received a cashback cheque from Dialaphone on Friday but havent banked it yet. Do I try it and see what happens? Its for £28.80 so not exactly a huge amount!0

Same here, got a cheque of Friday (penultimate one) for £20 - going to give it a a go tomorrow.0

I wouldn't. I'd think about it for a few days and see what everyone thinks about it. Da!0
