Terrible news for their employees. Can't help but think the networks purposely drove them out of business to reduce high street competition.
Dixons Retail and Carphone Warehouse were smart to merge as at least they'll still have the electronics side of the business if the networks eventually kill their phone business.0 -

Dial-a-phone will be gone as well...I spent 25 years in the mobile industry, from 1994 to 2019. Worked for indies as well as the big networks, in their stores also in contact centres. I also hold a degree in telecoms engineering so I like to think I know what I’m talking about 😂0

I'm 11 months into a 24 month deal via phones 4 u.
On Monday the phone broke and phones 4 u have sent it away for repair ( normal 12 month warranty). Am I likely to see my phone again?0 -

I literally upgraded with Phone4U earlier this evening which changed my Vodafone tariff....does anybody have any idea how much effect this will have on that? :eek: Did not have a clue that this was in the offing.0
