Phones 4U collapses into administration

does anyone here have information on how to order a bulk amount of phones from them for cheap if they are going into administration0
-
That isn't going to happen - vast majority of phones are from the big three and anything else will be sold in trade.
I used to be employed by their biggest competitor.
All phones will be owned by them. Networks do not supply the phones.
However they won't be flooded to market. Lots of reasons for this. Not least as they will be able to return most of them to manufacture.0 -
I literally upgraded with Phone4U earlier this evening which changed my Vodafone tariff....does anybody have any idea how much effect this will have on that? Did not have a clue that this was in the offing.
No difference at all. Unless you have a problem with your phone... Manufacture should still honour warranty however unless it's an iPhone that is going to be a pain.0 -
Hardly surprising that EE are pulling out after Vodafone announced they were pulling out and O2 already gone. It wouldn't make sense to have EE competing with it's own shops when all Phones4u had left to sell was EE.It's not just about the money0

Repairs, free gifts and stuff not arrived in the post yet should still be honored. They have gone into administration as there is no business left for them, not because their bank account has run dry.0

"Phones 4u said all mobile contracts bought through Phones 4u will remain unaffected and the networks will continue to provide mobile services to these customers.

Son upgraded his contract though phones4u last week (new iphone) he's paid £70 to upgrade the phone which he was due to pick up instore this week how will this affect him? Will he be able to contact EE (as his contract is with them) and arrange for the phone to be sent to his home address? Will phones4u still honour this contract?0

They haven't said yet.
Although they are in Admin and stores wont open today do note that the EE contract still runs till next year, so it hasn't yet got nothing to do - its not like they fell off a cliff with nothing.0 -
And here was me thinking a Cashback contract with Phones4u would be a relatively safe bet
. No doubt many more of us caught in this situation too.
