Might be pregnant, should I tell him or wait?

hello all, just need your views on my current situation. a few weeks ago (two days before the alton towers trip to those who recall) my bf and i had coitus. i went and got the morning after pill the day after. fast forward to now, i have not had my period; i am 11 days late. i know this is common after taking the morning after pill but we have also been having unprotected intercourse since then. i use natural contraception meaning i chart my menstrual cycle and keep note of when im fertile etc.
my question is should i tell him that i am 11 days late and i am going to do a pregnancy test or should i do the test and if i am pregnant tell him and if im not carry on as normal?
do you think its a good idea to tell him prior to taking the test just in case i am not it'd have been a waste of conversation...

I'd do a test before saying anything if I was you. You don't want to worry him over something that potentially hasn't happened :)

Why would you carry on having unprotected sex after going to the trouble of taking the MAP? Beggars belief.

when i took the MAP i was close to my fertile dates thats why i took it and after that it was after my fertility days.

will take the test without having a conversation about it before then.

    thanks all!

If you don't want to get pregnant take proper precautions or asbtain.

Trying to manage it naturally seems a bit odd to me really, and risky. There's a lot of medical solutions available to birth control.

    This thread is mad !

I agree with the above - also, I have never heard or seen anybody (other than on a TV cop drama) use the word "coitus" in real life.

No idea why if you were not pregnant that you would carry on like this approach, it can only suggest that you are 'considering wanting to conceive'..
Does your partner agree with this method - or is he just happy to be getting it (and so able to 'walk away' should it go pear shape)..

Surely such a conversation should have happened after the MAP situation ? in terms of what protection you should be using and there relative pro's & cons?

As a bloke having unprotected sex it would be in your mind that this could happen..

You should tell him up front before the test - good way of gauging how he feels upfront - and see his reaction to the test / or see the whole process spin out of what he really wants to happen.. rather than just hearing a 'oh I was late, but not pregnant'..

That way you can have that whole conversation before you find out.
