I'm sorry OP if I reached the wrong conclusion, but I think you do want to be pregnant, even if going back and forth with the idea, and you haven't really told him so, but are secretaly hoping that you are and that he will be ok when you tell him.

If you have discussed birth control (or lack of), I can't see how you wouldn't have discussed what would happened if it failed. I would expect he would know about the MAP, in which case, why not talking to him about the fact that you are late and wondering if it is to do with this or if you could be pregnant and then making the decision to do a test together.

Either you do a test and tell afterwards because you are trully scared of being pregnant and want to think it through before you mention it, or because you are very much hoping that you are and want to make it a nice surprise.

I wouldn't exist but for the rhythm method (and I'm the fourth child so it doesn't just go wrong for first-timers!)

Do a test and then you can decide what to tell him, Sheldon.

Though this sounds mental to me.

I'm perplexed. Why would anyone who has absolute faith in 'natural' methods of contraception and has frequent intercourse take a morning after pill (aka the just in case pill)? If that had been me and the OH in our salad days I'd have been down at Boots twice a week.
.................:)....I'm smiling because I have no idea what's going on ...:)

Do the test and tell him only IF you're pregnant.

Sorry but why would you wait till 11 days after you should of had a period to test ? Think most people would test a couple of days after the period was late.
Do a test it's the only way to know

when i took the MAP i was close to my fertile dates thats why i took it and after that it was after my fertility days.

will take the test without having a conversation about it before then.

    thanks all!

So why did you have sex close to your fertile dates.

Sorry, but people who won't take responsibility for contraception are absolutely irresponsible in my opinion.

I await the next bonkers thread, entitled help, am pregnant and my boyfriend has dumped me.

I Does he feel confident you will be together for the long run or up to paying child support and being connected to you for the next 18 years?

Only in the financial sense though.......once any child is born they are a part of each others lives forever.
