Hmmmm, ok, if i spent 70 hours a week at work the last thing I would want to do would then be get home and talk about work, I would much rather play a game of would you rather.0 -

Yes, we know you would but other people would not:D0 -

I would. If it came down to the only two topics to talk about, DH's work or a game of 'would you rather', the latter would win everytime! :rotfl:
He's a Network engineer. Not only do I not want to hear about it, I don't understand half of it....he tried to explain once! Not only that....it's the last thing he wants to talk about after being at work all day!
He works from home, so I don't know if that makes a difference or not?0 -

We cannot talk about much of dh's work in public anyway. Lots more he cannot talk to me about at all. I keep up with it all that I can, and find lots of it really very interesting, but loads is boring
Yesterday we had supper not only at home bu on the sofa, and pretty much in silence and when he'd finished he massaged my feet and legs, still not talking much. Silence was just perfect.0 -

Same here. DH works on the computer networks for Sellafield and Network Rail to name but a few. There's a lot he can't talk about, and the stuff he can, like you say, it's boring! Even he says so!

That's one of my favourite things. Just lying on the sofa getting my legs and feet massaged....shame DH is abit squeamish about feet though!0 -

I mean yes if you are working a standard 35/40 hours I understand, but if I'd worked 70 hours I can't imagine many people would then want to talk about it at home!0 -
