Yes, the kids were at their Nan's. I haven't met the kids, i've only seen a photo of them. It really is her choice if she wants to sleep with different people, but she's told me that she is looking for friends, then hopefully something more serious. Even if she was comfortable enough to introduce me to her kids, it probably wouldn't be until after we've been seeing each other as friends for a few months at the minimum.

Why would she risk pregnancy at 42? She must have taken a morning after pill or something. I really hope there are no repercussions for our actions. I wasn't even considering that she can get pregnant from pre-ejaculate; ignorance on my part to be honest.

Yes, it can work, on occasion.

It probably depends on the ages, of the couple, and what they want from life., eg., whether he wants kids etc., and the age gap.
