I've got a date tonight, going to her place, but I'm quite nervous. Advice?

Options
I suffer from social anxiety/general anxiety so my anxiety levels are high.

What to do to decrease them somewhat?

She knows I'm nervous and have anxiety, which she is understanding about, but I don't want to be a nervous wreck.

First of all, I would behave better than the last time you had a date:

You can tell a lot about a woman by her hands..........for instance, if they are placed around your throat, she's probably slightly upset. ;)

Have a little boogie with a glass of wine/beer (not more than 1 as u want to be in a fit state) as you get dressed, I used to sing into my hair brush as Igot ready for a date and have a long relaxing bath so I was totally scrubbed up! x

Yes, I was thinking it was a bit odd to have the first date at her house. I'd be nervous about going to a person's house that I didn't know very well. And I wouldn't invite a man round that I didn't know well either. Perhaps when you get there, you could suggest going out for a walk and a drink in a pub?

Frankly its normal to be nervous and I'd be more worried if you weren't ! But she'll be nervous too !
Think of the positives, she's invited you round so she wants you to be there !
Don't forget the wine, flowers etc etc and have a lovely evenning !

It's not just that but she lives in the middle of nowhere and I'm spending quite a bit on public transport to get there as I don't have a car. It's just a bit of a headache to get to her place. I dp want to meet her and going to her place is ideal for me and my anxiety, but it's just the nuisance of getting there.
