Not a kitty, but an NSD in the bag for me! :j

Tomorrow should be a double whammy of sweaty exercise and another NSD.

Went to a meeting about pensions after work. They do free consultations so I've asked for one. I kind of know what I want to do, but need help with how to implement it in the best way. No more ostrich-like behaviour as regards my future!

Today I am grateful for a clear-talking pensions guy, for veggies, for being able to cross things off my list, for friendly colleagues, for soft loo roll!

Hi everyone! Hope you have all had a good Wednesday!

My cat seems strange compared to everyone elses! She loves her carry case, especially to sleep in, and when she sees it she meows at it until I open the door to let her in! The only time she wouldn't get in it was when I was trying to bring her home from the vets once but the vet just pushed her in!

Had to go to the shop tonight for some bits - lunch for OH for tomorrow and Friday as he was supposed to be on a course with lunch provided but its been cancelled :( but got some reduced chicken, beef and pork chops that have all gone straight in the freezer. Spent £8.59, total updated in signature :o

Even though it was a spendy day I have done my exercise - 30 minutes of Zumba :) and when I went to the shop I parked at the far end of the car park so I had to walk further and I went up the stairs instead of the escalator :) Also at work this week it seems to have been everyones birthday so its been cake galore! BUT I have been good and said 'no thank you' to every single one!! :T

Just settled down to read through everyones posts and to apply for a promotion at work. Fingers crossed! However really want some chocolate!! :EasterBun

    Morning all....
    dolly NSK
    Coughs,colds,sinusitis and hay fever....
Fed up with it all...been back for 4 weeks....
Been sick off and on for 2 weeks of that...
Sinusitis since May 2013... Doctor " let's see how it goes"
I am sure your stumbling around with double vision, headaches and general lethargy will pass eventually...well he didn't say that but may as well have done...so having gone there and actually received something....suddenly the world looks brighter...literally !
And yes being a man I do suffer :o

Cough and cold was due to me helping a young couple who have just set up home...squeaky floorboards in the bedroom:rotfl:
So went to there's lifted and refitted boards...but they were both coughing and sneezing.....I wish I had the balls to say....see you next week....but they both work....what could I do....

Part of a shopping day yesterday....£6 for a proper brekkie I was obsessing with the day before...had that first then shopping ;) I know the rules....so a 30 minute stroll which had me sweating due to my general malaise....

I do thank people for their posts ...why can I not see my name ?...I do hope people don't think I am being selfish...

Day looks like it's going to be great ...all have a good one

Mr Cobes, just to offer my two penneth on sinuses, etc - please ignore if you want..

Years ago I read that avoiding dairy, wheat and bananas(!) when suffering with sinuses was the thing to do. So I tried it and it certainly helped.

I'm coeliac (diagnosed 6 yrs ago) so now don't ingest gluten anyway. I do have a lot less sinus trouble and find that drinking copious amounts of water - 4 litres or so! - helps relieve it.

I also massage the relexology points on my toes - it really works!

But May is the time of year that the tree pollen gets to me - the horse chestnut, hawthorn, anything white, it seems.

Maybe returning to the UK with the pollen out in full force and our way of eating has 'got' you?

I do hope you get some relief from it all.

And am glad you got your proper brekkie!

    SFD - 2/12
    Exercise - 4/25
    Food - £29.16/£150
    Petrol - £19.05/£40
    Misc - £4.88/£150

    Morning :D

SFD tally is back to 2 because I went to get supplies at the supermarket last night. Everything I bought was on the list apart from tuna steak but as that was reduced to £1.75 from £5.79 it would have been churlish to leave it there ;)

I did my banking yesterday and paid off my credit card but have somehow managed to leave it £5.57 in credit. I have no idea how! I have a parcel to post later so at least it'll be free!

I didn't make the gym last night, but have another induction time booked. I will make it there this week.
