    Ordered sim from three,
noticed from confirm email it is a nano sim,
called to say wrong sim, I need micro - but they said its ok its universal
Sim arrived - looks like a nano only to me - sim pack marked "nano sim"

and the web site does say
"Get a SIM with £10 of credit preloaded onto it.
You also get a free SIM adaptor, allowing your SIM to fit in any phone."

    whats adaptor like ?
I assume they forgot to include adaptor - but sound like a bit of a fiddle to me - nano -> micro ?
Edit : ok - I see adaptors on line - looks like not sent it

Have finally got my white mobile sims but just cannot seem to be able to top-up on line or register etc, it keeps failing no matter which credit card I use or paypal etc. The customer service is closed now but I also tried to PAC my number over and it would'nt accept any future date I tried to put in on-line - anyone else having problems with White's website??

I couldn't get it to accept my paypal when I registered but then read on here to add a credit card and it worked ok. I added another sim card to the account and that worked ok to pay for credit and paid via pp.
However I did get someone call me to confirm I wanted to transfer my number, just warning you in advance their English was poor and it was quite difficult to understand them.
I now wish I'd read on their website that WM sims are available where ever there's a Pay Point symbol, could have got the sim cards last week :(
Life is a coin, you can spend it anyway you wish, but you can only spend it once.
Go as far as you can see, and when you get there you'll see further.

I saw a post on here that said they had sent a batch out without adaptors

    Well I'm all set up.
Ordered 3 sim Fri., arrived Sat., with a spare sim, which I gave to my friend, who had been going to join Ovivo, a lucky break!

Loaded it up with £10 on-line and received free 150mb data.

PAC requested from Ovivo arrived on Sat as well. Asked 3 to change number. This was done on Tues.

Much better signal than with Vodafone.

So far very pleased, I'm not a heavy user about 20 texts & 20 mins /month and as I have a dual sim phone I have a 'samba' sim for if/when I use the free data .

So I recon the sim will last me most of the year and by then there's bound to be more offers around.. ;)

Has anyone successfully ported a number from Ovivo to Sainsbury's mobile? Mine apparently failed to port on Tuesday. The SIM recognises the number it should be but cannot send or receive calls - even to Sainsbury's help line. Sainsbury's tell me they have many failures porting from Ovivo and that no one from Ovivo is responding to emails to fix the problem (surprise). Sainsbury's cannot do anything to either fix the port or to go back to the original Sim. The only way to recover my credit is to get another Sainsbury's sim and get it transferred. Very frustrating, I would have been better off not trying to keep the number.

Interestingly the sim still allows internet access to the Sainsbury's network.

There is a big legal trial going on about alleged phone hacking by various former newspaper employees

In the old days, on some networks, there was a default PIN and no setting up was needed, so voicemails could be recovered from the start by using another phone.
    Yes, very true.

The difference is I was calling from my own phone already registered at my3. But I suppose it could have been stolen by a hacker acting quickly before I reported the loss ...

I thought having to set up a mailbox at chargeable rates was petty and mean though as I said, it was hardly a deal breaker. We're both up and running with 3-2-1.

See my thread here. They have a glitch that means that the first registration does not work with PayPal, you need to register with credit card first.

Three is cheaper and easier at the moment:

    http://www.three.co.uk/Store/Pay_As_You_Go_Price_Plans

    3p a minute, 2p a text, 1p a MB.

I have a list going of cheap providers over at HUKD at the moment. If anyone has anything cheaper to add, I would be grateful to hear about it.
