You can get one free: http://www.delightmobile.co.uk/View/offers/Free-Calls-And-Texts.aspx unless you want a nano one which will cost £1.
I know you can get them free but I mentioned buying them in poundland for people who want to be back up and running in a hurry.0 -
Delight would be really useful if you have a dual sim phone, but we don't and we do use the phones for other calls as well. Delight charges far too much for calls to landlines and other networks and the data is 9p per MB!
I hear what you are saying. Nothing seems to have quite the convenience of Ovivo. I am happy with Kontakt now though.
Delight do some decent bundles called "treats:
£5 for 100 mins/100texts/100mb
£10 for 500mins/1000texts/1GB0 -
Yes, there does seems to lots of interesting stuff with Delight such as Smart Roaming (cheap calls when roaming and receiving calls abroad for 1p).
Also Delight data bundles; £3 for 500 mb. £5 for 1Gb
If you took the data bundle, and installed fishtext and viber, you could text for 2p and use viber Out to make voip calls for 1p to landlines and 4p to mobiles.
However Delight seems to mainly owned by Vectone and Vectone gets very bad reviews (much worse than other mobile companies).
I will probably stick with 3 for now (assuming to tomorrows port goes ok). If we put Viber on all our phones, this will give us free calls and messages amongst ourselves.
With Three we can also use the call through http://text2topup.com/uk/call_throughs_three/
to phone phone landlines for 2p per minute or use viber out to call landlines for 1p per minute.0 -
same here......3 know about problems and hope to have it sorted by tomorrow
All working now as it should be. My3 a/c can also be accessed.
Thank you Ovivo for my son getting the use for 18 months for only £5.00 & my 2 other sims costing £15.00 each which lasted 6 months.
Not bad £30.00 for 6 months use.
I am also pleased that the porting has been completed to Network 3 payg 321 sim.
I knew that the business could not be sustained on the limited advertising revenue, but I am glad that I took the chance.
It has saved me quite some money.
I have some friends who are paying £15.00 per month for some sim only deals.0 -
Does any one know how to deactivate voice mail on Network 3 321 sim?
Thank you0 -

I paid £10 for my sims and got 18 and 16 months out of them. And Dariush Zand kept his promise (in the FAQs) - he said that if Ovivo went down, people would still be able port out and keep their numbers. And he's delivered on that. People have still be able to receive calls on their numbers while waiting for the new sim to arrive, so no one was disconnected, other than having to find something else to phone out on.
Just a shame Martin waited so very long to publicise it. If Martin had told everyone a year or two again, everyone else would have got cheap sims and had more than their money's worth before it went down,0 -

If you want to turn off your voicemail, you'll need to call on 333 free from a Three phone. See http://support.three.co.uk/SRVS/CGI-BIN/WEBISAPI.DLL?Command=New,Kb=Mobile,Ts=Mobile,T=Article,varset_cat=callsemails,varset_subcat=3788,Case=obj%283354%290 -
Interesting, bubieyehyeh .
Three sent me a message on my new line saying there was a voicemail message and to call 123 to hear it. VM is chargeable on 3-2-1 @ 3p a minute.
No problem, except that to hear the message, I had to set up a mailbox and PIN. I presume I spent 6-9p just to go through this unnecessary procedure and get my message.
Not a deal breaker but annoying. Perhaps I should have called 333 first.0 -

There is a big legal trial going on about alleged phone hacking by various former newspaper employees
In the old days, on some networks, there was a default PIN and no setting up was needed, so voicemails could be recovered from the start by using another phone.0
