  • Hello lovelies,

Skaps - keeping everything crossed for you, 11 fertilised is a great start! Hope you get good news today xx

Cwtw - hoping you are doing ok too - cringing at the thought of that needle!!!xx

Choc - hoping for you that it was just too early. Must have been so hard to resist the test. Thinking of you xx

Staple28 - wow that's an amazingly quick turn around time! We would have had to wait 4 months for consultant appt so paid for a private appt instead. Glad we did as turns out I have low AMH and means I am on waiting list for lap and dye already, whereas had we waited, I wouldn't have lap until at least Autumn!xx

Hi Kellykins, been thinking of you and glad things are moving forward for you. I was going to retry the acupuncture - with someone who specialises in fertility acu... how frequently dothey recommend you go though? I don't want to have to commit to weekly as saving up for treatment as it is! xx

Hi Tine, hoping your appt goes well :)

Laura - that consultant sounds like he is in the wrong job :( and having had someone announce something similar recently, I feel for you. It's when people moan about how inconvenient the month of birth is for them that I really feel

    Isla how are you?

Hope I haven't missed anyone, apologies if I have!

AFM - just "patiently" waiting for lap and dye date. Reckon should hear in March/April when it should be.

  • Morning ladies

Thanks for all your messages of support. I tested again yesterday and it was still a BFN 9dp5dt so I'm pretty sure I'm out as I've also been spotting the last few days and been getting AF type cramping. Am I right in thinking after this withdrawal bleed I'll also have to have a normal cycle before I can try again with another FET?

ellesbelles - the waiting is awful isn't it, just feels that you're always waiting for one appointment or another!

Laura - so sorry you had that experience, thats awful! Thankfully everyone I've encountered at the hospital I go to has been warm and caring, surely people in that kind of job should have a bit more compassion! A friend of mine who started TTC waaay after me has just given birth and someone else I know is due. You can't help but feel that should be me

Tine I hope that you get your schedule on the 29th and get started soon :)

Skaps - how are you feeling? Did you hear from the hospital? Hoping all goes well tomorrow xx

Sorry if I've missed anyone xx

  • Thanks all, I just want this appointment over with now so it can all be confirmed and I can move on. I'm feeling sick and tired and it feels as though my body wants AF to arrive but the drugs are preventing it from happening if that makes sense? So I'm getting awful cramps and it's so draining :(

Skaps hope everything went well today xx

    Hello

I am rejoining this thread as should be starting my frozen cycle on next cycle - currently waiting for Day 1 to ring up clinic so they can book in full treatment cycle plan! :j

However we do already have booked for Thurs for appointment to sign forms, explain treatment plan and pick up first batch of drugs (to start on day 21 I think)?! :T

Choc - hope you start to feel better soon and you don't have to wait too much longer for your appointment

    Hi all,
Sorry been awol. Have been having side effects of the progestrone which weren't making me feel great. Thanks for all the good wishes. I had my ET today which went well. My OTD is Mother's day which may be awful or great dependent on the result. Was supposed to be going with my mum and brother to my sister's for the weekend but now can't. Feel bad but I can't go without my husband and i will not be in a good state of mind. Have to tell my mum tomorrow. Hopefully she won't get cross.

Choc - so sorry to hear this. Hoping you get some answers soon so you can move forward. Xxx

    Star 2- that's good news.

Hope everyone else is ok xxx

    choc, hope you're doing okay.

    star02, that's great news!

skaps, progesterone is so mean. Hope you're getting through it okay and that it's a super sticky bean for you. I know what you mean about timing but you have to do what's right for you. Does your mum know about the treatment? I hope she's understanding x

Thanks. Yes she does know so I hope she will be ok. Though she doesn't understand it all as it's hard when you've never had to go through this. She tells me about clinics abroad with 100% success rates which I know don't exist.

I've had different symptoms over the last couple of days. Symptoms I haven't had before. Hopefully it will all be worth it. X
