    Hello all,

I haven't been posting for a while but I have been reading all your lovely posts and it's great to see so many good news.

Nothing much has happened with me. We have been back to see my family in Germany a few weeks ago and my uncle deals with infertility cases in his practise and he gave us some reassurance as the infertility in our case is purely on my husbands side, the chances seem to be higher than they are if there are issues on both sides. It was good to talk to him about it and a bit weird (it's not something you want to talk to your own uncle about!!) but I felt better after it. We are still waiting for our letter to arrive to let us know when we can start IVF and I will chase it up to get things moving.

I am looking forward to reading loads more of your good news xxx
  • That's great you have someone knowledgeable to ask questions Tine79. Hopefully your letter will arrive soon to give you an idea of the next steps :)

  • Hello All

Tine hope your letter arrives soon :)

Nothing much to report here, felt a bit crampy in the few days after FET but feeling pretty much the same as before ( some side effects from the progesterone ). We've decided to do a IC before the blood test next Thursday. They'll be calling me while I'm at work with the results, so if it's negative I'd like to prepare myself. That and I'm already itching to POAS lol

Aren't the progesterone side effects fun?! :rotfl: I've finished mine now but Lordy talk about messing with you!

Good luck choc. I think you're doing the right thing. I used a FRER a couple of days before our OTD as it was a day both OH and I were working and we wanted to be prepared.

Everything crossed for a sticky bean for you :)

Hey ladies got my trigger tonight and then EC on Thursday.

For some reason yesterday the injections were really painful. Today's he last day so hoping it won't be too bad.

Choc hope you're managing to keep busy during the wait. Good luck and hope you have a very sticky bean. Xxx

    Good luck skaps! :T

I found the last days of my injections were really sore too. Enjoy having no more after your trigger!

  • Isla - I've been told if this cycle is successful I have to continue with the pessaries for 3 months :(

Skaps - Best of luck for EC. I found some of the injections I barely felt, other times they were really painful and bruised, I guess some days we are just better at doing them than other days!

Hope everyone is doing well? Seems quiet on this thread compared to how it has been in the past, I'm hoping this is a positive sign that not as many ladies are struggling TTC!

I've heard other people who have had to continue until 3 months with it. I'd almost prefer that myself, I feel a bit like it's all out of my hands just now.
