As for me, I have called the clinic and we have our appointment with the professor on the 29th. I am getting a bit excited now. How long will the appointment take? Does anybody know? We have taken the day off - just in case :T

Yes Skaps, all my bloods are done and OH sperm is frozen in case we need it. He has a low sperm count and low mobility. As far as I am concerned all tests are done and it feels like I have left gallons of blood for all sorts of tests I am hoping we will be given a start date when we are there on the 29th.

Hi ladies!
Apologies for being totally rubbish for the last couple of months, I've been trying to take a step back from stressing about our journey as we seem to be getting nowhere at the mo.

We had our hospital appointment just before christmas, where we were told by a rather arrogant consultant that he couldn't refer us yet as it hasn't quite been 3 years of ttc, and we should receive another appointment to come back then so we can be referred to the clinic. Oh and at some point the ccg are going to be cutting IVF funding, don't know when, so we might be lucky or we might not. But the clinic offer an egg share scheme so private IVF would only cost us £500 if we were willing to share half the collected eggs with, to quote him "a couple less fortunate than yourselves". I'm afraid I nearly walked out at this point, as yes, I have eggs and DH's sa if good, but it's hardly like we're fortunate in this department!! Oh, and a good friend of mine has just announced she is pregnant, but they weren't even trying
