Skaps good luck for today
cwtw I heard the injections were a little scary! Its amazing how quickly you get used to having to inject yourself every day though.
Not a lot to report here, the progesterone is messing with my head, getting all the symptoms of pregnancy with no way of knowing whether it's down to all the hormones I'm taking or it has actually worked. Hate the 2WW with a passion!New House... New Mortgage! February 2017: £144,000

Hello all,
Been for our 1st hospital app today. Oh did a 2nd sa and I had swabs and an internal scan. We were getting vegan appointment with the consultant for 10 weeks time.
Can anyone give me any idea of what the next steps will be. Guessing he will discuss our results. I'm guessing each appointment is going to take around 10 weeks from now on.
Has anyone gone through the process relitevely quickly? Someone I know is starting Ivf this week and it's took her 3 years to get to this point.0 -
Staple I think it varies a lot depending on where you live and the waiting times in that area. I think after we went to the GP and were told there was an issue it took around 3 months to be referred to the hospital. I can't remember what order we did things in, we had various tests, had to attend an open evening, then more tests before we got our schedule. I think from the first hospital appointment to getting our schedule took 6 - 8 months.New House... New Mortgage! February 2017: £144,000

Thanks choc.
Luckily we got a choose and book system so only took 2 weeks to get in at the hospital after being referred from the dr but that was down to the hospital we chose. Some in our area had 2 month waiting list! Crazy how much they differ

Hi ladies -
poking my head in - hope you don't mind. Weve been TTC since 2012. commenced clomid this time last year and got a BFP on my last cycle. unfortunately it ended in an ectopic pregnancy - luckily I was treated with medication and didn't need any surgical intervention.
we needed to wait 3 months to TTC again.. so we are just there now. Only had 1 cycle since - 8 weeks after bleeding stopped.
I have commenced acupuncture and had another HSG (which showed my tubes are both clear)..Partner has had another SA - (which he was extremely happy with the results!) so at the minute just waiting for my period so we can start our first IUI cycle. If my fertility monitor was correct I ovulated on CD19 - which pre clomid was unheard of!! it was usually CD28 time! so id like to believe the acupuncture is actually doing something! but who knows.. ill stick with it for now.
so enough of my rambling.
does anyone have any more IUI tips? I'm cd22 now, really looking forward to the next steps in our TTC journey.

That's excellent Skaps, keeping my fingers crossed for you. Hopefully you'll have some nice one's to freeze too (though I sincerely hope they won't be needed!)
I caved and tested this morningit was a BFN. Stupid to test I know, I just read a lot online that said by this time there should be a good chance of knowing if it's worked. Will do another before the blood test, but not getting my hopes up.
