Congratulations on your little girl frozen! What a beautiful name :)

Congratulations isla, wishing you a happy and healthy 9 months :)

It really is good to hear success stories on here :)

AFM, we saw the endo specialist last week who said we could have a lap when we want it or when the pain gets unbearable. However, this cycle has been more or less pain free so I am no nearer knowing what to do. Part of me wants to wait until we have been trying for 2 years as there is still a chance of conceiving naturally, but then I'm worried that it will be 3 years ttc before we get to the IVF stage and I feel like the clock is ticking...it's so confusing!

In the interests of taking one step at a time, DH has his second SA next month to see if there's an improvement then we'll be referred to fertility so I can see what they advise. Endo specialist is booking me in for a (dildo cam) scan then we'll see him again and I'm already writing a list of questions.

Janey - I am going to have the lap in a couple of months... apparently it's supposed to help clear your system as it were, and obviously for you it will treat your endo...hope you get all your questions answered soon xx

hope you are all doing ok xxx

    Thanks elles,

Apologies for my ramblings! There just doesn't seem to be an obvious way forward.

My biggest issue with the lap, apart from being a wimp, is being put into menopause for 3 months beforehand. Obviously this is time off ttc and there are loads of side effects.

Oh well, hopefully it will become clear with the next appointments, good luck!

  • Thanks isla, one back on board so now PUPO :) putting my feet up for the day which is not easy for me as I'm looking round thinking I need to clean the Windows and do some food shopping but have been told I should take it easy for a few days. Guess that means DH will have to run round after me

  • Yup we did! The embryologist came and spoke to us beforehand and showed us a video of the embryo thawing and rehydrating which was quite cool then they had it up on a tv during the transfer and I watched it on the scan whilst they were doing it. All fascinating stuff! They said it looked like a really good blastocyst so fingers crossed. Back in 2 weeks for the blood test
