    Hi al
Gelly fingers crossed for you, hope this is the one for you xxx

Elephant I felt the same way, it was the longest 2 weeks, I just tried my best (easier said than done) to keep busy. Good luck xxx

Frozenpenguin can't remember if I said congrats, glad all is fine and that you heard a heartbeat.

I'm going in today for my day 10 scan so that they can organise the FET. Feeling nervous and was a moody wreck yesterday evening. Was not like this last time but I guess now I sort of know the process.

First day back to work today after a lovely week off with oh and the pup. Had a really rubbish day at work and now just had an email saying my cousin has had her baby, and pinched a name I liked too, grr. Very happy for her but just needed somewhere for a hormonal shout, sorry ladies, aaarrrgggghhhhhh!!!!!! (and relax......)

Congratulations Gelly, wishing you all the best and will be thinking of you x

Tamvilla80 - glad you had a good holiday. I know how you feel about names, my favourite boy and girl name have both been taken in the last year. I just tell myself that they weren't meant to be. *hugs*

Going in for my op tomorrow, they are doing a hysteroscopy (? I think? A kind of general uterus once over as I understand it!) an HSG and a cervical dilation (!) The consultant is concerned that my tubes might be damaged by scar tissue but they looked ok in my previous MRI so I'm trying to keep positive that this won't be the case. Fingers crossed anyway! Feeling a bit nervous about the outcome rather than the procedure but feels good to at least be moving forward.

Hugs to all that need them x

Good luck for your op today Shrimpy.

Hope your scan went ok yesterday Skaps.

AFM, AF is killing me, she's certainly making up for her absence in the last few months!

Thanks Laura, it was cancelled so feeling a bit put out :( the X Ray machine broke so they cancelled all general anaesthetics just I was about to go in. Starved all day for nothing (and went without tea more importantly!) Just got to wait for a new date now but they weren't able to give me any indication of how long the wait was likely to be, all she could say was that I "shouldn't have to" go back on the waiting list which didn't fill me with confidence! Ah well! Hope you're still not in too much pain?

Hope your scan went well today Skaps, missed that bit yesterday sorry.

  • Hope everyone is ok. Sorry to hear your scan was cancelled shrimpy fingers crossed they won't have you waiting too long for another one.

As for my 2ww, it's dragging. The last two mornings I have woken up with the intense urge to do a test but luckily I have resisted. I'm really hoping the next few days will fly by and it will soon be Sunday but at the same time once Sunday comes I'll know if it hasn't worked I'm not sure what's worse. Living in limbo assuming I am pregnant or come Sunday actually knowing the outcome! Never mind I'm sure everyone feels the same during their wait. Xx

Congratulations Gelly, will keep everything metaphysically crossed that this one is The One.

I just heard back from my social worker to say.. we have been accepted onto stage one of the adoption process.... I thought that had happened 8 weeks ago!! However, because these people are accessing you I had to smile sweetly and say how great.. They may have speeded the process up on paper but I guess they have a lot of workarounds!

Hoping the next few days pass quickly for you Elephant and keeping everything crossed for you.

Picklekin- kind of good news in a frustrating way! What happens next for you?

Have a new date for my op, 1st July, so not too long to wait I guess.

  • Thanks shrimpy. I've been sort of bleeding since yesterday afternoon. I say sort of cause it's brown icky stuff ( if that makes sense ) and then sometimes blood, seems to be more blood this morning so I'm assuming that AF has come or is coming and our treatment hasn't worked. As you can imagine I am devastated and holding to a little hope but realising it isn't happening for us, whereas the DH is holding on to every last little bit of hope there is for the test on Sunday.

Oh Elephant, I'm so sorry this is happening to you. Many people here know that pain all too well. Nothing we can say will help, but I'm sure we'll all be thinking of you for the weekend. Look after yourselves xxxx
