Great about the ET floaty, and the timing of it

As most of you will have been through this, can anyone put my mind at rest?

DH had his SA done about a week ago. Yesterday the doctors called to say that they had received his results back and he needed to make an appointment with the doctor immediately, and that he would also need to do another sample. They said they wanted him to go in that day, but he had a work meeting he had to attend so made an appointment for Friday instead. But why would they need to see him urgently? If the results were bad surely they’d just tell him to make an appointment whenever was convenient? I am now convinced they’ve found something seriously wrong.

Don't worry cyantist. It's maybe that they've found something atypical and want to do another test to make sure it's not because they've left the sample out too long.

Absolutely, could be any number of reasons, and impressive that they don't want to introduce any more delays into an already slow process. Hope all goes well.

We had a relaxing couple of weeks away and dtd loads but been spotting for 3 days now as usual and AF is imminent

My GP asked that I call her re options, but planning on researching clinics this month and maybe making first appts..feels good to be doing something positive about it after 19 months of 2wws

Hi ladies,

I hope you dont mind me popping over to this thread, (im from the TTC thread) i just have a question and i wondered if anyone here would be able to help me.

Im on Cycle 3 of Clomid and HCG injections. I have my scan and HCG on monday. The previous 2 cycles i have had my peak on my CBFM the 2 days following this.

This cycle - I didnt get a peak on Tuesday - i was annoyed at myself because i got up to the toilet at around 3am and tested at 8am, so just assumed my urine was concentrated enough to pick it up. I therefore went and bought the Clear blue ovulation tests and got a smiley face. Wednesday again no peak on CBFM but a smiley face on clear blue test. Today there is a peak on my CBFM and a smiley face.

surely i wouldnt be ovulating 3/4 days after the HCG injection? last night i had quite bad period type pain.

I cant do temperature tests because i am a shift worker. We have manage to BD every day since monday - but now im not going to see him until maybe tomorrow night, (where we have planned a quick BD if possible) but more likely saturday. Ive been swapping my shifts around to suit ovulation and now im really upset that i may have missed it this month.

Fertility friend has still got me at 1DPO even since i put todays data in.

what do you ladies think?

Hi kelly. I don't know the answer to your question as I've never used clomid or hcg. Hopefully someone who has will be along later to help you out.

Hi kellykins. I'm not sure but I know that standard (strip) OV tests will pick up hcg and can show positive, this is why people who are pregnant can get a positive OPK just before a BFP. Could your HCG be affecting the tests?
