So sorry elephant take care and do whatever you need to do to look after yourself.
Hi kellykins in terms of the HCG injections, I was told that you would ovulate 48 hours afterwards. I was on injections rather Clomid to induce ovulation so I didn't use ovulation trackers as I had scans to check my progress. However, I was told I'd ovulate 48 hours after the trigger injection. I was also told that the trigger might not work for everyone, so it could be in theory that the trigger didn't work for you but then you ovulated by yourself.
Good luck skaps and floaty.0 -
Hi Ladies. Hope everyone is doing ok?
Finally got to my target weight to phone the clinic back, hurrah! Managed to phone them up while I was at work this morning and our Dr has left so they are short staffed and have a 6 week wait for an appointment, grr. At least it gives me time to lose a bit more I suppose.
God, I would kill for some cake right now..0 -
Well done Tam! That must be so satisfying
I hope the wait for your appointment flies by.
AFM, about 2 hours ago we had two 5 day embies thawed and transferred. Now for another 2ww. Fingers crossed this time is successful.
How are you all doing? Xx35, OH 39, unexplained IF (all tests normal), no joy w/ 3 cycles of Clomid, IVF1, Jan 2015 - BFN. Currently in 1st FET cycle using endo scratch and EmbryoGlue, BFP 4th July. MC 12th July0 -

Exciting news for you both Floaty and Skaps, double everything crossed for you both. Hope it's a quick 2weeks!
Restisted the cake, but did just treat myself to mini ice cream after walking the pup, who btw came fourth in a cutest dog competition at the weekend-although she was clearly the cutest and was obviously robbed ;-)0 -
Thanks Tam. Hope you enjoyed the dog show anyway, despite the clear rigging of the results.
All is fine and dull here. Bored of 2ww but also trying to make this cycle very different to the last. Distractions, no time off work post ET, even cycled into work this morning. I'm also planning on being naughty and testing throughout the final few days of the 2ww.
On OTD I'm supposed to be away camping with my Mum for a birthday treat. I'd rather know in advance either way, so I've just bought a few cheapo tests from Zoom Baby and plan to test every morning next week. A bit of me feels naughty, but the bigger part feels relieved. Last cycle AF beat me to OTD, resulting in a nasty shock in a restaurant toilet. This time, either way, I hope to have had a bit of an indication before OTD. I'm well aware that you can get a false negative but not a false positive. I'm also aware that testing has the risk of showing up a chem preg or early loss. I'm ready to deal with whatever comes.
How are you doing skaps? Going out of your mind yet?Hope you're well. Hope everyone else is well too!
xxxx
Edited to add: I hope this post doesn't sound insensitive to anyone who has been through difficult cycles and losses. I don't mean to minimise that at all. I'm just splurging my thoughts onto the screen. I'm doing my best to be positive this cycle, the last one was so disappointing.
Elephant, if you're reading, I hope you and DH are bearing up xxxx35, OH 39, unexplained IF (all tests normal), no joy w/ 3 cycles of Clomid, IVF1, Jan 2015 - BFN. Currently in 1st FET cycle using endo scratch and EmbryoGlue, BFP 4th July. MC 12th July0 -
Ack - found a bug in the new website design. When you have an over-sized image floaty, it's cutting off the right-hand half of your text so I can't read it properly?
Sneaking back here for some in-advance moral support. My first nephew was due yesterday, so any day now really! Entering auntie territory for the first time. I'm *so* pleased for them but tinged with sadness that it hasn't happened for us too. If our IVF had worked last year I'd have been due in May. I honestly don't know how I'm going to react when I meet and hold him, so feeling a bit nervous.0 -
Aaw, Pink, that is a tough one. My cousin had her first a couple of weeks ago, and I really had a mega green eyed monster attack, although I was really pleased for her too. Being an Auntie is great though, we have 7 between me and oh. I'm sure you will be fine, might need a teary moment at some point (which is always allowed) but you will love being the best Auntie ever I'm sure x0
