Good morning everyone!
Hope you are feeling ok today Elephant, when do you expect to have your et?
I've got an appt at my clinic this afternoon, as AF should have been here about 5 weeks ago! So another lovely scan, then I'm guessing they will give me some tablets to bring on AF. Haven't bothered to do another test, 2 BFN is pretty conclusive, just want this cycle to end so we can start enjoying ourselves again.
Big hugs all round xxx0 -
laura thank you am feeling a bit better today thank goodness. Clinic phoned this morning and 6 out of 7 eggs fertilised & becoming embryos! Thinking ET will be Sunday but they should be able to tell me in the morning when they call once they have judged how they are doing. Hope your scan goes ok and AF turns up for you.
Hope everyone is ok :-)0 -
Yup Fairy, early scan is on 8th June
The travel bands are well, kind of okay for a while but not 100% effective, I've felt sick most of each day for the last few days. Ginger isn't something I like anyway, but I did force myself to eat a biscuit and then felt worse than before! Ended up at the local GPs yesterday with an emergency appointment because I just felt so awful and was finding it hard to keep any food or drink down at all. On the plus side, I have lost 6 pounds
(the doc said losing weight wasn't a problem at this stage).
All you ladies have all of this to come!
skaps - that all sounds positive about your FET, fingers crossed it works out for you xx
Glad your ec went well elephant! xx
Laura - hope AF turns up for you soon xx
Hugs to you all xxx0 -
So no babies hiding on the scan, so I've got a prescription for Provera for 10 days to bring on AF. Anything I need to be wary of? All the clinic have told me is to take one a day. Didn't say no alcohol so treated us to a bottle of vino to commiserate! Tho have a bit of a headache now, haven't really had a drink for months!
Happy Thursday everyone!0 -
I've only taken Provera once and don't remember too much about it except it didn't bring on AF. Enjoy the bottle of wine. This journey is so hard, we need to remember to look after ourselves at the disappointing times.
AF has come on rather unexpectedly and I've ruined my favourite pants. No we're longer ttc I'm not tracking but I'm pretty sure she wasn't due for a week or so.Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0 -
Just been announced - my CCG is ditching all NHS IVF funding. It will now only be funded for people who are left infertile by cancer treatment.
Shouldn't have read the local newspaper article - lots of commenters saying good, we shouldn't pay for this anyway, there are kids that need adopting. :mad:0 -
So yesterday was ET day. Wow what an experience is all I have to say for that. But was very cute to have a picture of the embryo to take home with me :-). So now for the 2ww not something I am looking forward to at all to be honest. Need to try and keep myself as busy as possible really! Easier said than done a lot of the time when your mind is still on the subject your trying to avoid! ...
Hope everyone had a lovely weekend.0 -
Gah, typed a nice long reply then phone didn't post it *sigh*
Yay Elephant! Congrats on being PUPO, hope your 2ww flies by smoothly to a happy result xx
Afm, still injecting the old Buserelin, no noticeable side effects, although a nice purple bruise. Got a scan on Thursday to check I'm suppressed and find out next steps. Still at least a couple more weeks till thaw and hopefully transfer.
How's everyone else? It's been a bit quiet here lately. By the way, do any of you tweet? I tweet as Floaty1234. Not the world's most prolific tweeter but there's a good community there
Hugs to all xxxx35, OH 39, unexplained IF (all tests normal), no joy w/ 3 cycles of Clomid, IVF1, Jan 2015 - BFN. Currently in 1st FET cycle using endo scratch and EmbryoGlue, BFP 4th July. MC 12th July0 -

Great news on being pupo elephant and really good that your treatment is going well floaty, I'll update the lists this evening xxx
(I tweet occasionally too, I'm on there as duckinadress, just followed you floaty)
I hope I'm not upsetting anyone either but just in case you want to know...
(AFM - Had a bit of a scare on Friday evening with some pain and blood which ended up with me having a scan at our clinic yesterday. Little one all seems okay though, measuring 0.86cm and even with a little fluttering heartbeat!)0 -
Thank you floaty and frozen :-)
Can't see it flying by if the last 2 days are anything to go by but still hopefully a happy result. Had some pain and cramps yesterday and got myself all of a panic that it was all going to go wrong already! But thank the Lord for my dear friend who has been my rock through all this who was at the end of message to tell me it was perfectly normal and to try not to worry. ( although we both know easier said than done )
Hope your scan goes well on Thursday floaty and the Nect stage can begin very soon for you :-)
Brilliant news that everything was ok at the scan frozen :-)
Very quiet on here recently hope everyone is well xxx0
