Lauraw82 did the first injection this morning and have to say it wasn't too bad once id convinced myself it wasn't needle and it wouldn't hurt. Yes my DH or my mum would happily do it for me I'm sure which is why I am getting up 630am to do it so that they are always home in case I freak out ( which is bound to happen at some point )
Frozen yay!!!!! Congratulations so happy for you (( lots of hugs ))0 -
Congratulations Frozen so happy for you (and DH obvs)!i hope you had a lovely celebratory lunch too. See it must have been the mythical implantation bleeding that you had last week, not so mythical now!!
. It must be a strange feeling finding out you are pregnant after all this time, I hope it's starting to sink in now. I will have a celebratory drink for you this weekend
. xx

Whoop, well done Frozen! Really pleased for you and Mr Frozen, you must have just had the craziest day?!0

Huge congratulations Frozen! So happy for you - I was holding my breath when I logged in yesterday to see if you'd posted!
Sorry to hear about your diagnosis cwtw and the delay - have the Drs given you any idea of what timescale you are looking at? I'm waiting for surgery at the moment and it's so frustrating! Like you say through, at least you can get treatment now you have a diagnosis. Frozen - that is great news, certainly looks like a BFP to me!! Congratulations!!!0

Thanks everyone, still can't really believe it. I think it's going to take some time getting used to!
cwtw - sorry to hear the treatment's been put on hold, hopefully with a diagnosis though it means there's something that can be done xx
lauraw - not wrong at all to hope that! I'm keeping all my bits crossed it happens for you and you won't need to use that last Clomid cycle xx
mogwai - the paperwork from the clinic says it's just a cheaper no-frills version of a Clearblue test, so nope, not really any difference at all. DH was pretty chuffed, cautiously chuffed but still happy nonethelessGood vibes is right as well, it all depends the clinic, some let you, some don't. If you're choosing a clinic to go to, it's definitely worth asking about it xx
Fairy - it's an incredibly strange feeling! It doesn't feel real at all, your brain keeps saying "how can it be true after that length of time and all the negatives?" Thanks for having a celebratory drink as well, in fact I reckon you should have several (and then I'll do the same for you when you get your BFP!) xx
Tam - it was like walking around in a state of shock all day! We went out for the day, ended up going for breakfast at Morrisons (we know how to live) and then went for a wander around Salisbury (about an hour away from us). We actually had to do a bit of shopping for some baby stuff, my cousin had a little girl a few weeks ago and we needed to sort out a present. I did resist buying anything for ourselves though - feels a bit too much like tempting fate at the moment! xx
Would anyone mind if I stay here for a little bit? I don't mind carrying on doing the lists and I don't know if I feel quite ready to move onto the 0-12 weeks board yet0 -
Well done frozen. Congratulations to you both. Xxx
As for me I've got a hospital appointment this week, information about FET.MFW 2016 No 68 £1300/£8500 No new toiletries Cook sth different0 -
I'm now on my second celebratory drink for you Frozen, I've even bought a couple of new things to try for the occasion, Toffee Apple cider & a frozen berry daiquiri
. Of course it's fine to stay on here,I guess it must feel scary moving on plus you can be our lucky mascot for those starting their treatment
xx

Elephant hope you are coping with your injections52 Week Challenge £15/£13780 -
Fairy. Coping as well as can be expected. Bit of a nightmare but I have to keep thinking that it has to be done and I have no choice but to do it. Found that I am marking in my diary as I do each one so I can feel myself progressing getting closer each day to the last one! Haha.
Hope everyone is ok and having a good weekend ((( love & hugs )))0 -
Thanks skaps and fingers crossed your FET appointment goes well xx
I'm not even a huge fan of cider Fairy, but the toffee apple one does sound quite tasty! You're right, it is scary, I took a look into the 0-12 weeks thread but haven't posted anything yet. Did another test as well this morning - still a positive. I've got an early scan on 8th June and I said to DH, "do you think I could do a test a couple of times a week until my scan?" He just rolled his eyes and shook his head in exasperation...0
