Hello ladies. I've been diagnosed with hypothyroidism so all infertility treatment has been suspended until I get normal blood test results following treatment. I'm relieved there's another possible explanation but really frustrated about more delay. Urgh!

    Good luck frozen.

Wowsers ladies it's positive! Not exactly a BFP but stronger than a TLP!
I can't quite believe it, what do I do now? I've never been in this situation before! xxxx

ETA: actually I think I was reading the stick upside down, looking at the paperwork from the clinic, I think it's the control line that's faint and the result that's strong!

You've looked at too many OPKs frozen. On a pregnancy test a line is a positive even if it isn't as dark as the control line. Which it is now.

    Yay. Congratulations :j

Thanks lisa and code! (and I think you're probably right about the OPKs code!) xxx

This is what it looks like:

I thought the bottom line was the control line but it was only after I'd read the paperwork a couple of times (and held the stick the right way up) that I realised the result must be the bottom line - which means the control is fainter than the result - not sure if that's right or not! I don't have any IC's in the house either (I stupidly threw them out last year) but I'm going to go out and buy a few tests later today.

Fairy so sorry to hear your news, hope you are doing ok xx

Frozen congratulations!! Keeping everything crossed for a smooth journey for you xx

Elephant good luck with the injections. Would your OH do them for you if you don't like them, or would that make them seem worse?

Hope everyone else is doing ok at the mo.

AFM, I've now had 2 negative tests and a negative sneaky blood test too. However no sign of AF which is really annoying me, the one time I actually want her to show her face is the one time she hangs back:mad:

So I've got to call the clinic on Monday, which will be 4 weeks late, and apparently I'll be given some drugs to bring on AF. Quite annoyed with them tbh, as I've never had any information from them about how clomid can affect you and your cycle, they always tell me I'll know 2 weeks after my trigger injection, there was never any mention of extending your cycle, and I'm sure whenever I call them they think I'm fussing.

We've decided tho to delay our last clomid cycle for a couple of months as OH is coming up to a really stressful period at work, and we've got a holiday booked in early July, so will pick up again after that. Is it wrong to hope my body might have sorted itself out and maybe, just maybe, we might be able to do this naturally?!?!;) xxx

laura - fwiw, clomid extended my already long cycles to ridiculously-long. Very annoying! The way the hospital bigged it up I honestly thought I was guaranteed a 28 day cycle on it.

Congrats *frozen* wow that's a good positive, is the clinic test different to a normal test? What was your ohs reaction?

Just been to see my GP re ttc again and she confirmed that there was nothing really the nhs could do bar investigative tests and we wouldn't be refered for IVF as we already have one child.

I read somewhere that you could ask your GP to do the semen analysis and blood hormones tests so you wouldn't have to pay out for those when doing IVF privately. Is this true for any clinic?
We got rid of the kids. The cat was allergic. ;)
