  • Great news that it's still showing positive frozen :-) such happy news! Only other thing that seems to have happened is some really vivid and strange dreams since I started my injections might just be a coincidence but they are very strange and realistic it's almost scary

Congratulations, frozen! So happy for you. We've been trying for about as long as you so you've given me hope. :)

You do what's right for you - keep testing till your scan. It won't hurt. Don't post on the next thread till you're ready. Give yourself time to adjust. After all this time it must feel unreal.

    Huge congratulations FP :D

I'd probably keep testing regularly - if just to try to make up for all the negative ones.

Hope everyone else with appointments and treatment (and everyone who isn't having any of those) is doing well

Thanks pickle, pink and cyantist xxx

That's excellent advice pink as well, you're right, it does feel completely unreal, I find it difficult to stop thinking about all the things that could go wrong and there's this weird irrational fear that I'll go to the scan and they'll tell me that I must be mad because there's nothing there.
I've had a look round for any books that are specifically written about pregnancy after IVF but there seems to be a real gap in the market - ah well, perhaps that's where someone should make their fortune :D

Great news Frozen! Wishing you a happy and smooth 9 months to come xx

Hope you're doing OK Fairy, thinking of you xx

Sorry and pleased to hear about your diagnosis cwtw, as you say, maybe now something will start to improve as you get appropriate treatment.

How are you getting on Laura? Where are you off to on holiday? We're heading off tomorrow on a really short but exciting trip, I'm so distracted today!

Elephant, well done for getting the hang of the injections. It's a weird sense of pride when you become and expert isn't it?!

Skaps, hope the appointment goes/went well.

And, Frozen, since you're kind enough to keep the list up to date for a wee while, please could you move me into the Cycles Ongoing section? I've started Buserelin injections this morning, and am booked in for an endo scratch this afternoon. First scan's on the 4th June to see where we're at..!

    Love to all xxxx
35, OH 39, unexplained IF (all tests normal), no joy w/ 3 cycles of Clomid, IVF1, Jan 2015 - BFN. Currently in 1st FET cycle using endo scratch and EmbryoGlue, BFP 4th July. MC 12th July :'(
  • Thanks floaty and also - done! :) Good luck with the endo scratch today and your injections xxx

That's another sad thing about infertility - when it finally happens after years, it's nigh-on impossible to relax and enjoy being pregnant (as much as anyone enjoys it, but I know some people who do!).

There might not be books but there'll be loads of blogs etc online with others who have been through it. :)
  • Floaty well it's becoming like a second nature to do it now and I've only done 6 ☺️ .... Had a scan today and they are very very happy with the growth and it's all looking on track for EC next week. Have to say I was very shocked at the growth considering I am only on 75iu as they are treading carefully with me. I had been set up for an extra few days of injecting and EC not being until the week after next so a very nice surprise today to find out it may end up being next week and I won't have to inject for too much longer xxx
