Assume it's true with the detail given. I have seen other threads on the boards where relevant information is drip-fed rather than all included in the first post. Annoying!

Very annoying! Even if they had been previously, if you were worried surely the first thing you'd do is agree to blood tests or whatever else was advised to try and treat your poorly baby?? I'd happily remortgage if it meant keeping P safe and healthy.

Oh Lisa, how annoying! Fingers crossed everything gets moving soon and you get the Christmas pressie you deserve xx

Tea, sorry to hear how bad things have become. I hope a dodgy hug isn't too forward :grouphug:

Skaps, my appointment was really good, thanks. Our nurse is lovely. AF turned up the very same day, and our nurse was a bit surprised we didn't want to get going immediately. However, the thought of being sensible and not drinking all through December was daunting - all those parties. I kept imagining people asking me if I was pg or, worse, assuming, and then being surprised or disappointed if normal service resumed later. Plus, the possibility of a bfn right before Xmas didn't appeal (obviously AF is due on about the 25th, but that's not quite the same...). So we're on to start when AF arrives in mid-Jan-ish! Whoop whoop! How're you doing?

Big extra festive hugs to everyone xxxx

Arrgh the smug "Christmas is so much better when you have children" facebook posts have started. Am I allowed to stab people through the eye?

Thing is, though, it isn't. Or at least it might not be. This year we'll be eating pizza for breakfast, watching Netflix and drinking wine all day :D And my social calendar for this month is ludicrously busy and fun.

Things are just different. Not better, but different. People are just idiots on Facebook trying to be better than everyone else.

My best friend has her second baby today. Wish I could feel simply pleased, without the other less pleasant emotions muscling in.

    F xx

Parents have to post cr.ap like that to try and convince themselves...otherwise they might realise they've spent all of December paying over the odds for noisy plastic tat, that they'll have to wake up at 3am on Christmas day and that they have to sit through endless school Christmas plays with groups of 5 yr olds playing recorder.
