Oh tea. Poor you. Do you have a hot water bottle for the cramps? Peppermint might help too

I'm under bombardment. 4 babies have been born in the past couple of weeks and 1 more to go. I've sent cards, bought baby outfits and am having an internal tantrum now.

    Tiny careful hugs tea.

Grrrrrrrr I have a horrible feeling that my best friend is pregnant, she's only been with the guy since about June. She was very heavily hinting that her holiday next month with him, will be her last one for a few years, and how she didn't want to go to an event next year looking fat.
Didn't go down well after hearing that one of the most dramatic women I know (as in she's 'dieing' everyday) is also pregnant.

Went out with my friends yesterday and realised that they have all passed onto the next phase of life, it was all kid talk.

I have heard nothing from the hospital about anymore appointments, so going to chase them up tomorrow. Don't want to sit here waiting for them to do something if we have ended slipping between the cracks yet again.

Big hugs code and vesper, never easy when the rest of the world is pg xx. Hope you get through to the hospital ok vesper.

Have learnt my lesson with the met..... if I'm going to take it again it has to be v slowly! Just sick of never having any idea what's happening with AF (nothing, usually), awful skin... thought met might help a bit.

Was that with the daily mail Tea lover?? Theres an article today about single mothers who have paid to get sperm from a sperm bank and had a child each rather then meet a partner! You should read the replies!! Mostly that people shouldn't get IVF free.. Im sure they are the same people who know nothing about it and can conceive a child without much trouble!!

No!! No reading comments on IVF. None of these people have ever experienced infertility and so don't understand.

I daren't ever read the comments on IVF on any website, its disgusting. I am sure these people are the same ones that try one month and get visited by the pregnancy faerie. Or have no problem with popping out a million brats (depending on which website is read).

Some times baby news isn't all bad, congrats to Tink.

Hospital phone calls are taking a back seat for a week, husband's dad got diagnosed with cancer last week, and is in for an operation to try and remove it tomorrow. So our minds aren't really on trying to get hold of them until after the weekend when we know its ok, as apparently its quite a risk due to his age.

Really sorry to hear your news Vesper, will be keeping you and your family in my thoughts over the next few days.

AFM, had our follow up appointment last Friday and was generally good news, SA result was better than last time and is now borderline again rather than poor. We can't be referred for IVF for until we have been trying for 24 months but he offered to bend the dates slightly as we lost a few months post surgery where we were banned from trying so we will be referred in March if nothing happens before. Meanwhile I have to have the dye X-ray thing and an ultrasound at some point. So news and no news really!

Hope everyone else is ok, has been quiet recently. Am thinking of you all x

Vesper - do sorry to hear about your dh's dad, will be thinking of you all and hoping for good news.

Shrimpy - good news about improved SA report and that they have moved date forward until March. With Xmas and the other tests to be done hopefully the time will go quickly if needed.

Tea - hugs, those sort of comments are always upsetting as always by people who have no idea about infertility and the hurt it brings.

Code - hugs for all the babies around that must be so hard.

AFM we have our new adoption panel meeting next week and hopefully we will be approved this time as don't want to go through another deferment. Feel so nervous about it after it went wrong last time even though it was no fault of ours. I have been distracting myself by playing candy crush particularly when I can't sleep at night, but worried I may run out if levels although they do keep extending them!

Oh wow. Good luck. I hope it all goes well. Have they identified a child for you or do you have to wait for the panel? Are you wanting one or a family group?
