  • Thanks Frozen :)

Good luck for tomorrow, hope everything goes well xx! I think because it is something that we want so much we always think what could I have done more when we have likely done all that we can. So try not worry too much :) At least being kept busy will keep your mind off it for oooh about 30 seconds but it will hopefully make the 2ww pass quicker.

Pickle How's things with you? Hope you are feeling a bit more relaxed now that you are away from work. :)

GTS Hope you are doing ok & taking it easy :)

Hugs to those that need them xx

AFM forgot how much it hurts when taking your bra off for the night  then the further pain of my pyjama top touching when it goes on :eek: After spending the day after my ET a blubbering mess after googling obsessively if a 3dt of a 4 cell embryo will work (there were just as many bfps as there were bfns) I've decided to be positive about it as being miserable isn't going to help at all. I've done everything I can and as my transfer was a couple of hours earlier than my previous cycles I'm telling myself that had it been done later the cells would have divided some more to a 6 cell which is normal :o

  • Hello folks, thanks for your hugs and stuff, it really does help :)

I'm a little better, started stimming yesterday (went OK, although is sticking a needle into yourself ever fun? :p) and had hoped I'd wake up this morning miraculously happy, but sadly that hasn't happened. Have a day of cake making though so will keep me occupied.

I'm hoping really hard for you Fairy..
  • Thanks Pickle, it's much appreciated :) xx

It will take a while for you to start feeling happier, think of all the stress you are going through at the moment, all the delightful hormones that are going into your body amongst other things. No-one expects you to pick yourself up and be back to normal overnight :) Glad you are feeling a bit better though. Ooh cake making will definitely keep you occupied that and tasting your makes! Yum! xx

  • Hi guys,
Im currently still in my pjs on the sette with 2 little embies on board. Both thankfully thawed perfectly. Had the choice of 1 or 2. After a bit a chat and advice we decided on transferring both.more of a praying one will stick rather than wanting twins. Testing on 1st oct. So nervous!

Frozen wishing you lots of luck for tomorrow x

Fairy keeping my fingers crossed for you x

Primer wishing you lots of luck x

Pickle hope you are ok and sending u hugs x
  • Hi,

my wife and I have been trying for our 2nd child for about 7 years and 2 years ago we applied for IVF.

Well the latest is that we have 4 fertilised eggs and we have to ring in the morning to see whether my wife has to go tomorrow or Sunday to have 2 of them put back in.

Does anyone know if 4 is a good amount? (out of 7 they took out)

Once we get to the stage of fertilised eggs being put back do you think the percentage of getting pregnant is much higher than when they first tell you the percentages at the start of the process?

We are just a roller coaster of emotions as you would expect at present.

    Thanks in advance.

4 out of 7 is a great fertilisation rate (for info, I only ever got 4 fertilised out of 18 collected).

Tbh I'm not sure what you mean about the percentages, but best of luck with it all x.

    Thanks for your reply..

When I mentioned percentage what I meant was that at the very start of the IVF we were given say 30% chance of having a baby and was wondering if the chances have gone up now we have got to the stage of fertilised eggs being put back in.

    Thanks
