Also, on days like today where I'm tired and feeling a bit flaky, I'm counting my lucky stars that I don't have a teething baby or demanding toddler to take care of and that I should, all being well, have a night of uninterrupted sleep.Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0

You lovely bunch! It's so nice to hear about others feeling the same. So many IVF stories are online are from women so all-consumingly desperate for it. I was scared at our first consultation that the clinic would twig that I don't feel that way and refuse to treat me.
Code and pickle - that's funny because part of what you said rings true for me - DH is far, far more natural with other peoples' kids than I am. He'd be an amazing dad.0 -
Flying visit (reading in the toilet at work). I feel so similar to you guys! I love this forum, it feels like a more natural place to discuss this than a dedicated fertility forum. Awww, love you guys35, OH 39, unexplained IF (all tests normal), no joy w/ 3 cycles of Clomid, IVF1, Jan 2015 - BFN. Currently in 1st FET cycle using endo scratch and EmbryoGlue, BFP 4th July. Hello lovely ladies
Back from my little jaunt in Edinburgh (watching 22 shows in 4 days at the festival ) so I've updated the lists, let me know if anyone wants anything changed.
Thanks code for the cheesecake recommendation, we couldn't fit it in in the end but we're definitely going to go there next time. We're hoping to go for a few extra days next year so we'll have time for lots more eating!xx
Hello TamVilla and Laura :hello: Hope your stay here is short xx
So lovely to hear from you time2deal! Can't believe how quickly that time has flown by, fingers crossed all three of you have a nice easy birthxx
pickle and pink - excellent advice re: dr-ing, taking it one day at a time is about all you can do xx
Also, pink, you're definitely not a weirdo. I know what you mean, we would love nothing more than a family of our own, but we've also talked about all the things we'll do if it doesn't happen. We started to make our own 'Up' adventure book, it's only a silly little thing really but it kinda helps.
PM - huge hugs to you xxx
AFM - nothing to report, other than endo scratch on Thursday and collecting a cocktail of drugs on the same day. Will be dr-ing from Saturday
Hugs to you all xxx0 -

22 shows in 4 days?! I think I would have munched through bags of minstrels and malteasers during all those shows - no room for that cheesecake!
Last week at work before my thingy next week (decided thingy sounds better than op). Will probably be the longest week ever, but this time next week it will done and I can stop thinking about it then.
Who here has had a lap/dye and hysteroscopy and can tell me that it's not as bad as my fussy brain thinks it will be?0 -
Sorry Tam, I've not had those particular ops so I can't help much. However things are rarely as bad as you build them up to be, the nurses are always lovely on these wards (I think they are less rushed about then on other ones).
As a plus, think of all that pudding you'll deserve!
What does it always come back to food with me?0
