Yeah, starting CD21. I've booked a holiday over 1 week of it, but its up North with the MIL (we have a cottage booked though). But they have been warned I'll be on drugs! One week of it also.. *deep breath* I have friends (about 10) coming to stay from overseas and have to put on a typically English buffet.. (God knows what I will cook!). I'm dreading this as I'm not good at social occasions anyway..

I've checked with my boss though and she says I can work at home more if I need to, which will be nice.

I think the one day at a time advice is very good. I down-regged (but the rest of that cycle was cancelled) and found it dragged on a bit! I didn't feel awful, it just seemed slow-going. But hey... you will all be at the exciting business end of the cycle before you know it :)

Give yourselves permission for a v early night with some chocolate if you need it and know that it's all for a good cause xx.

part mouse - I was exactly the same for a couple of weeks after my miscarriage. Trying again sounded awful and I wanted to curl up and never do that again

But, my natural cycle has come round and we did try again. It feels like it did before everything happened and hoping for another BFP soon I know its different for everyone but I think trying again is really good medicine for this and gives you hope. xxx

Trouble is, I often feel tired in the evenings anyway, last night I went to bed at 9.. I'm going to be going bed at 7 at this rate :D

My MC was nothing like yours PM, but like emma I found trying again cathartic, like it was in the past now. Its probably easier for me to say this but hopefully you'll feel better too.

I'm an early-to-bed person too, pickle. :) I'm still going to bed about the same time (9ish) but dropping straight off to sleep rather than reading. Sleeping in a little later than normal too.

It's not affecting work too much for me, thankfully. I do a desk job and I'm being slower than normal - not working as quickly as usual - and my concentration and short-term memory seem to be shot so I have to be careful doing fiddly things. E.g. I work in the team that looks after a University website and broke the site for an hour last week without realising! :o But still getting work done. :)

Emma is good though your trying again. As i dont ov at all on my own and have other problems medically between us natural ttc seems very much impossible.I do know that im not ready to go through weeks and weeks of injecting and iui again yet.Im seeing gyne at the end of the month due to the constant bleeding which makes ttc pretty impossible.

Pickle its good to hear trying again helped.

I'm booked in! They are sending my stuffs out and I'll hear from the nurse about my scratch in the next few days. I'm thinking about doing the counselling but I think they only do it at Oxford which is a long way to go for a chat.. There is something in the book about getting it done yourself, anyone know anything about that?
  • Ooh code the cheesecake place sounds amazing! Is it in the centre? :-) x
