This will get you an automatic £45 cashback - you don't have to claim.
I have never had a free gift from them but I do trust them with my cashback claims. Never had one not pay out from them and they usually process it within a few days. Most often they process it the day after I send it.
There was another MSEer on here who posted that her Wii that she was offered was taking a long time in coming from them. Apparently she was offered the value in Argos vouchers. As Argos were doing a slightly better deal for that money I recommended that she accepted the offer.
If their cashback processing is anything to go by I would trust them.Behind every great man is a good womanBeside this ordinary man is a great woman£2 savings jar - now at £3.42:rotfl:0 -
Hi,
I've just started looking around for a new phone and as a bit of a gadget head I tend to go for the phone with the most bells and whistles when it comes to upgrading. As the new SE K850 and walkman range phones arent out yet, and I'm not too keen on the N95 as I've heard its battery isnt all that, I've thought about maybe getting a deal that comes with a TV, PS3, or similar gift.
I did a quick google search and there's loads of sites offering these, some with good deals. Was just wondering if anyone had had any experience with the following companies and some of the deals on there sound too good to be true? (dialaphone, onestopphoneshop, etc.)
if anyones seen a great deal out there for one of these do share
Many thanks in advance,
Stebo0 -
they arent exactly free gifts but some off the tarriffs are pretty good deals even with the price of the gift topped up0

Shopping around for a new mobile contract and fancy a new games console chucked in with it...
Anyone recommend a trustworthy company to buy through or any particularly good deals available?
Cheers0 -
most of the usual suspects offer these deals, the best thing to do is check the small print and peoples experiences on here. For instance, many will only send you the "free gift" after 28 days from the start of your contract where as others (although I'd admit to only being aware of the Link doing this) will send you the gift with your phone.
Generally, you will be on a 35+ tariff with gifts like this but if you're using this sort of amount anyway then its good value for you.
If you want the best all around console then the Xbox 360 would be my choice (try to get the premium 2 or elite) but if you want the best in technology then get the Sony PS3 (60gb model if you can but the 40gb model is cheaper so might bring the cost of the deal down) as it has the blu-ray drive for high def movies.0 -
Hi...
Ive been scanning the web looking for mobile phone deals as our 2 contracts expire in Feb.
Ive noticed many websites offering free 32" Hi-Def LCD Tv's and reasonably spec'd Dell Laptops when you take out a new £30 18 month contract.
Have any forum members had first hand experience of these types of offers, and... have any of you spotted these offers for less than £30 a month, or seen similar offers with bigger & better Tv's or Laptops for around the same monthly contract cost - if you have can you please post some info and a link ?
The best TV Ive seen to date is;
"Free 32" HD Ready TV
"The Hannspree XV32 HD Ready LCD Wall-mountable Widescreen TV looks and sounds great. And with its dual HDMI interface, a 1200:1 contrast ratio, 8ms response time and 1366 x 768 pixel resolution (supporting 720p and 1080i HD formats)"
(Ive seen this for sale on price comparison websites for £356)
The best Laptops Ive seen are;
"The Dell Vostro™ 1000 features a 2.0GHz AMD® Sempron Mobile 3600+ processor, and a quality 15.4" WXGA (1280x800) screen; an 80GB hard disk; DVD Burner; plus Fast Ethernet (100Mbps) and built-in Wi-Fi (802.11b and g). It also comes with 1GB of RAM and Windows Vista pre-installed."
(Over £300 from Dell UK)
Dell Inspiron notebook
Worth over £400
1GB memory
DVD RW drive
Wireless card
Media card
Windows Vista Home
(Over £400 from Dell UK)
Thanks for your help
Regards,

Can I ask where you saw the free Dell laptop, I also need to renew my phone contract and need a laptop too.
Thanks,

Hi Matt...
Do a search for "mobile phone free laptop" and you'll see loads of links.
I decided against these offers, Ive heard of several companies/websites going bankrupt/insolvent while offering these deals. There are some posts about successfully receiving the free gift, but there are many more horror stories than happy endings.
Good luck,

Thanks Mark,
I've done a bit of looking around at the big names. Carphone Warehouse are advertising a few handsets (on various networks) with a "free" Dell laptop (lots of other "gifts" there too).
It's an 18 month contract at £45 for 900 mins and unlimited texts. I pay nearly that much now anyway.
Anyone had any good or bad experiences with getting gifts from Carphone Warehouse? Any gift substitutions?
Seems a good deal and a company that is unlikely to just vanish.

Matt,
Id trust CPW, but you are paying a high monthly tariff for a 'free' laptop... you might be better off getting a free line rental offer by redemption deal, do a search for "12 months free line rental" , and using the saved cash to get yourself a quality laptop, Lenovo (part of IBM) are great value...
HTH,
Regards,
