Do you mind what sort of phone you are looking for ? What you will usually get is if you want the x box 360 then that bumps the line rental up,or you find the phone is not free or the line rental is expensive so you have to think what sort of phone you want (does it matter if its basic) and how much line rental your willing to pay, that way I can narrow it down for you.

1)usually you get the xbox like 3m after youve started the contract
2)heard the majority of free gifts are grayscale unofficial UK stock, if something goes wrong with it xbox wont do anything because its not official stock and the mobile company wont because its a free gift

i would say just get a 12m free cashback deal, the £300 you would have spent on line rental go and buy the xbox

Are there any catches? I've been looking around the web and found I can cut my bills by half and recieve a free gift (i.e. PSP, iPod, etc.)

been looking on the internet for a mobi and seen a lot of companies offering a good phone ie n95 and a tv or a ps3 ect anyone bothered with these or just a scam to get you to sign . any help thanks..

A friend of mine went for a deal like this a recieved an xbox 360, shortly after signing up.
I'd stick to the popular ones though, i'm sure others on this board will know more.
