I think she was kidding when she said "putting out" And to be kind, I don't think that I'd feel very much like having sex with my OH if he was being an !!!! either.

I think you need to make an effort, cook a meal etc, to MAKE some quiet time for the two of you without distractions, Xboxes, shouting, etc and tell him how much this is upsetting you, say that you just can't understand his actions and its driving you crazy. It seems like there isn't a lot of communicating going on here. You need to be looking at each other when you talk, not just passing through a room while he stares at a console.

I don't think he is being a !!!!!! though. Poor guy probably feels that she's more interested in the ring than in him.

Personally, I'm not a big jewellery fan, and hardly ever wear my wedding ring or engagement ring, I really don't see the big fuss women make over them.

Me neither. I probably wear mine for a couple of hours a month, if that!

Glad I'm not the only one then! A woman I was bridesmaid for when I was about 6 was all gushing "Ooo let's see your ring", when I told her I didn't wear one she told me quite sternly "put it on", I was like "erm excuse me!'

As the boyfriend paid for the ring, and hasn't given it to the OP, this would be tantamount to stealing, as the ring is not hers to sell. It only becomes hers when or if he gives it to her :cool:

Except that there's no way that I'd be putting it back under the sink. He'd have to prise it off of my cold, dead hand...........

Failing that, I'd just stand in front of the Xbox, screaming "Where's my ring, where's my ring, where's my ring" until he got the message.

Sometimes, you just have to put your foot down where men are concerned!
