I doubt it, I can not even get non- graduate jobs with a predicted degree so I will have no change once I am an offical failure as I will just look so useless that I willl be unemployable.

If I am stupid then I might as well go top myself now as I have no self respect or worth in myself to stay existing for as my self respect in that I have reasonable intelligence is all that keeps me going.

Look - I know depression when I see it. Posting here is keeping you trapped in your own mind, so be a man, stop posting and get help for your mental problems. Take your parents along if necessary, but get yourself on medication; you have more problems than anyone on here can help with, once you're stable you'll see things differently and that in turn will impact your employability. I expect you'll ignore this but this is the last interaction I shall have with you. Make of it what you will.

Phil if everyone did that society would be a shame - who would clean our floors, serve us in restaurants, take away the rubbish etc. Just because you aren't as clever as someone doesn't mean you should top yourself. If everyone thought like that then there would only be one person on the planet - either that or you arguing with Stephen Hawking about how you got a better grade in your 11+ so must be smarter than him.

Oh right I am glad you told me that SP, have you got a big red stamp done to save them the bother of looking or are you just not going to apply for any more jobs to save you the bother of working?:rolleyes:

My DD dropped out of uni in second year, she has just been promoted in the job she is doing, I was a little concerned that she would be seen as a failure but she was invited to several interviews and was offered a couple of jobs in the first weeks.

SP not all jobs need a degree and not all jobs that don't need a degree are beneath a 21 year old who has been to uni, there are other options than flipping burgers and serving beer (now't wrong with either by the way) but if you are so negative you will not get a decent job, you probably won't even apply for any.

I and others have advised him of this many times before, but he just won't take the advice

I dont want to work in restaurant or clean rubbish. I want a decent job where I can have self respect. It gets wearing day after day seeing most other people get good jobs and good marks and all I have is to sit here and see the rain, wait for a job that won't come and to wait to be told I have failed my degree. It gets harder and harder to stay happy when life never gets better for more than a few hours before it feels bad again.

have you not learnt from previous threads where you have insulted lots of people by saying how you would not lower yourself to doing the jobs that they do?! seriously - you'll get no sympathy with that attitude
