Hi, forgot to say in my last post that I updated my money diary (i.e. spends to date).
Here is my list from last Sunday to the end of Saturday:-
Sun tidy up day - done.
Sun until the end of Sat - Eat more raw food. See if 1kg is possible.
Mon until the end of Sat -
Assess monthly expenditure (money diary).
Front garden tidy up - still bits to do.
Collect any garden seeds for next year sowing.
Tidy bedroom - windowsills mainly.
Decluttering - aim for 6 hours; those examples not ordinarily tackled.
Hope your week goes okay!
Hello everyone, interesting to hear how you have been doing recently.
Eating more raw food was more achievable than I thought (exceeded 1kg). Sometimes, however, rather than things perish, they had to be boiled or baked. October figures revealed a within budget food groceries month with some purchases remaining unfinished or unopened. Only did one session of gardening around the front and there is more than I thought still to do. I have filled a big envelope full of herb seeds for next year sowing which will provide salad without having to leave the house/buy. I still need to check for any flower seeds which I didn't do yesterday, as I was behind with the decluttering hours completed last evening. Lastly, the windowsills have had been polished and cleared of various items.
Today is my usual tidy up day and thinking about the rest of my weekly list. This should be posted before the end of tomorrow.0 -

Hi, yes it really can seem uplifting when things get done.
Sunday - had a good tidy up.
Sunday - Saturday, I will be doing computer tasks consisting of checking, acting upon and deleting bookmarks (12 on average per day if possible). These bookmarks are several years old and many will be money-saving ones.
That's it this time until I feel more enthusiastic/focussed again.0 -
Good morning,
Just to add, mothernerd will be thinking about you (operation).0 -
Hi all,
Hoping to do a few things in the next few days and figure if everyone can see my plans I'll be less susceptible to failure!
I don't know about anyone else but I find that if I miss my 'day' for something it doesn't happen ie I leave Sunday for baking and housework, but if I'm out the Sunday the baking doesn't get done and only minimal housework.
My flat is tiny and a pair of shoes and a coat out make it look a mess! I recently went mad and had a serious clear out to charity & Ebay. Though there are some bits still to go on Ebay.
Anyway up until Sunday I would like to attempt the following:
Take pictures of remaining items for Ebay and schedule them to go live Sunday.
Do 1 white and 1 coloured wash.
Go through one box in my 'bag of random stuff'
Read 4 of my previous required readings for Uni (assignment due in 30th Nov).
Bake 1 batch of cupcakes.
File receipts and any mail.
Take that bag behind the front door to the charity shop.
Get rid of the old vegetable trolley - what are those random contents?! Not veg....
I think they are all realistically achievable if I don't sit down on the laptop playing games all day!Debt £16,000
Not employed...How to get rid of this debt!!Serious about Saving Money!0 -

:hello:Hi Chanpagne,
Good Luck.0 -
Hi, yes it really can seem uplifting when things get done.

Hello, managed to delete 86 bookmarks so exceeded my target of 84.
Still somewhat unenthusiastic and unfocussed however. Really dislike not getting much done so this has to change!0 -
So another list to tackle:-
Sunday - tidy up day done.
Monday to Saturday :-
Food freezer week - eat from stores as want to start 2015 afresh with a new healthier and easier to manage diet.
Front garden still has jobs needing doing.
Seed project - keep collecting garden seeds for next year and check sowing instructions on those already stored.
Wardrobe update.
E-bay bid for health product?
Declutter something daily.
Hope everybody is doing okay.0 -
Hi would like to join you all as my organisation skills seem to have left me when DS & DD's left home.
I a going to start quite small with a few daily tasks and one long term task to start.
Daily
1. Do all the washing up before going to bed (at the moment this is left until the morning, which means trying to get everything done before going to work a race against time). 0/7
2. Ironing - iron 10 items & put them away (we have a mountain of ironing, don't know where it all came from, but keep putting it off).
0/7.
3. Know what is for tommorrow's meals and prepare as much as can be done today. (We always have a full store cupboard but never seem to have anything prepared as we work long days, leaving the house at 7am until at least 7pm Monday to Friday, we then go for the quick (more expensive option) take aways or ready meals.
0/7
Long term.
1. Do a meal plan for December, arrange for non fresh items to be delivered (to avoid impulse spending)
2. Commit to a budget (we keep setting ourselves a budget then promptly ignore it when we see something we like/may need/seems a bargin. (Will have to put a figure on this once a meal plan has been done.)
Just hope I can stick to this, I am so easily distracted and lose motivation.
