6 Tool sort - Just spent 2+ hours sorting tools, drill bits, screws and miscellaneous items (had already done some earlier) and now ache all over. Every time I thought I was done I found yet another small cache. may need a final sort through but DONE DONE DONE - I even have a space to put it in.

DS1 has just gone home and the shed roof has been finished (need to find a suitable spare bit of wood to make a diamond at the apex), the single bed in the tiny room is flat (DS3 got it in there but got it wedged on the radiator and the wall, the path at the back is fully covered in stone chippings and loads of soil has been moved back on to the borders at the front and back (17 potato growing bags drying on the line - to make any remaining soil drop out before they are stored in the shed). He has also worked out a twiddle to stop the leak at the side of the house (mr builder has fiddled with it twice).

Hello,
Putting together a list for Sunday until the end of Saturday still. Hope to post tomorrow plus an update regarding last week.0 -
Edited previous post with progress. Big appointment tomorrow so waiting till I get home and seeing how I am on Tuesday and Wednesday. Will carry on with existing list - starting to be able to see the wood from the trees. Will have a ceremony to bin the disgusting painting skirt and t-shirt when most of it is done (lining up empty paint cans to bin after collection day - very little room left in there at the moment). My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.NST SEP No 1 No Debt No mortgage0

My list from last Sunday until the end of Saturday:-
1) Tidy up day and planning the weeks list.
2) I have been thinking how some things never get put away or dealt with so will tackle a "101 odd jobs" in my home environment. Might not quite do that number though...
1) Provided ideas of undone tasks and a framework for the following week but actually making the list takes time.
2) "101 odd jobs" -
1) Plastic handle to check for re-use recycled.
2) a) Gardening project items filed away.
b) Started seed packet left out, so completed collecting.
c) Built up the soil around the potatoes.
d) Watering cans and fertiliser had been left ready so done some of
this task.
e) Kept noticing edible greens in the garden so aimed to increase
collection; collected more last week.
2) Saved spare change was used.
3) Winter pants in a box looked through and have repaired some of these.
4) Tested spare kitchen manual scales for accuracy with battery operated as the latter are faulty/might break soon?
5) Cash and Carry kitchen rolls put away.
6) A food storage area had been looking messy for awhile so cleaned and organised this.
7) Updated list of tv, radio and you tube ideas.
8) Miscellaneous health matters of concern discussed.
9a) Broken bicycle lamp replaced with a stored spare one.
b) Pannier rack straps fixed tighter in position.
So roughly 15 "odd jobs" done.0 -
Hello again.
Sunday - Tidy up day and planning for the week; same as usual (see no.1 above).
Monday to the end of Saturday - Will take a similar approach to last week (see no.2 above) but will try and exceed 15 jobs. Keen also to declutter so will take this into account.
Good Luck for the week. (Look's like lots of rain in order to do indoor jobs?).0 -

I'm getting a new hip. Should be before Christmas. Left house at noon and only got back at 8pm. Will wait to see if I can still move tomorrow before writing a new list - going to visit mum in her hospital tomorrow, providing I can get in and out of the car. Updated previous list with jobs done - think there is only the kitchen grouting and touch up painting to be done
ADDITIONAL JOBS
1 U/C ATTIC STAIRS
2 GLOSS ATTIC STAIRS
3 LIST MORE THINGS FOR SELLING
4 PAINT TINY TOILET (Bottom 3 feet only)
5 GET THINGS OUT OF THE HOUSE
6 CLEAN EVERYWHERE

Good morning,
Hope everybody is doing okay (lists or daily lives),
The idea last Monday to the end of yesterday was to do more than 15 "odd jobs" taking into account decluttering. These are those tasks:-
1) DIY bicycle repair. Replaced very worn tyre with a saved one; twice over because once tested the tyre went down. Re-checked and put together but needs testing.* Old tyre thrown away.
2) Checked if a bicycle fitting was secure. Recycled a uneeded part.
3) Learnt how to fix a zip on an expensive to replace waterproof jacket but didn't work for this particular zip. However, did other simple needlework jobs.
4) Garden tools from outside were oiled and cleaned and stored away indoors.
5) Read about plants that need fertilising and have done those. Some composting done too.
6) Sorted out all indoor mint stems in water and used for recipes. Created more kitchen space.
7) Foraged apples used for apple cider vinegar and jam making; two lots of sorting.* More space again.
8) Sorted out purchased sweet peppers and saved the seeds to grow next year. More space.
9) Collected garden greens (edible herbal).
10) Food storecupboard item used up. Cupboard minimally decluttered.
10) Checked prices for a health supplement.
11) Miscellaneous cleaning and tidying up jobs -9.*
12) Checked how to use an unused mobile telephone (past Xmas present).
So managed more than 15 as some listed* counted as more than once!
Anyway, will think of a new list today.0 -
