 Hello new list-makers and good luck.
Here is my list from last Sunday until Saturday :-
1) Tidy up and plan the weekly tasks. Quick shopping trip or blackberrying?
2) Blackberrying sometime if not done on Sunday.
3) Basic repair jobs around the home.
4) Check regarding potato storage and plants fertiliser usage this time of year.
5) Generally keep working upon making the home "nicer", particularly making the home more spacious.
Hello,
1) Minimal purchases done at a Cash and Carry shop (lots of reduced priced items) to use alongside using up existing food "stocks". 17 items used up last week (i.e. a particular food or recipe. Milk not included.).
2) Big supply of blackberries acquired (local area) and tend to find other edible foraged stuff at the same time.
3) Miscellaneous repairs - wooden box container, bicycle brake blocks, curtain rail, secueters, a brush and a door.
4) Checked regarding potato storage and garden fertilising requirements.
5) Time put into general housework and decluttering. Also, garden work such as hedges and border plants/weeds that are alongside pavement areas cut back. Pruned other bushes, bulbs foliage and non-fruiting bramble. Presently updating a list of indoor interests as maybe more time spent indoors during the winter months.0 -
Thanks for the recent posts which I have been following (current routine makes it hard to regularly post). Hope your "restart" goes okay karens100dayys.0

hi all,
can I join please? I desperately need a kick up the back side and maybe making a public list will help me focus more.
My house is in desperate need of decluttering, and my paperwork mountain is larger than Everest (I have a bit of a phobia about it and although there are important things I need to deal with I block it out).
So with DD back at school this week, the one thing I have done is got uniform washed and ironed. My list for this coming week is:
1. cut grass in front garden (back garden is too far gone and needs professional input)
2. hoover stairs and lounge
3. try and fix curtain rail that has fallen down (my bedroom)
4. Get kitchen surfaces cleared and all washing up done
5. do some batch cooking and freeze
6.Washing and ironing
7. half an hour tidying DDs room
8. Clean bathroom
9. sort through 100 items of paperwork and deal with or shred
wishing you all a good week0 -
Welcome lindor, good luck on the restart karens100dayys. Dannie you seem to be doing excellent work. Most of my list has been completed, the exceptions are:
1 cooking some has been done but there is more I would like to have done.
2 fridge cleaning as fast as I use up ingredients, something else needs chopping and storing or chilling before it goes in the freezer (or is in the freezer queue)
3 the bed I would say it had gone critical but that would mean it had toppled over on top of me (the clutter not the bed). I have thrown out at least 3 wastebaskets full of discarded paper this week - the pile is a lot flatter but more difficult to access MUST TRY HARDER.Still trying to get sitting/ on the bed jobs done when my energy or my leg gives out.
However yesterday DS3 went out for the day so I grabbed all the clutter from his room, swept as much of the floor as I could get at and in addition to 3 loads of washing, I put his fleecy throw, 2 quilts and 3 pillows out on the line to air. I also managed a couple of little painting jobs - just touching up scrapes and spills in the front room, hallway, stairs and landing (knowing it had time to dry before someone came along and scraped their laptop along the wall - it's level with my eyes so not me, someone about a foot taller). So didn't get all the cooking done as I was moving around too much - cooked a curry and chopped and peeled and defrosted bits.List from today to Sunday September 7th
1 Clear the bed
2 Mum's cushions
3 Make meals from stores and what is in the freezer
4 Clean fridge (when I see a clear shelf)
5 Three small jobs to be done from the diy list - hoping to try painting skirting boards whilst sitting on a dining chair. I used to use a box lower than the chair but now need someone's help to get up again. So will try but lots on the list if I can't manage.
DS3 brought little stair mender back with him so hoping he will mend the broken corner on the (wooden bed). Already got them to take the dining room table down (wait till they go for food and say while that's cooking say can you.... I did offer to make them a Sunday dinner).
6 Continue de-clutter more to add - large box of dvds/cds left the house yesterday and have been playing in the shed, need to decide on about 20 items by the end of the week (found 2 boxed set dvds in DS3's room after struggling to make a minimum of 10 for a 3rd package), may go to cs and/ or geography teacher (environmental management but current/ former pupils may be going into that area and find them useful).
7 List more items for sale
8 Continue computer learning and internet research - I am running the NST:September Squirrels challenge on the Debt Free Wannabee Challenge board.

1/ Sort my wardrobe out get rid of anything not fitting, tired or not going to be worn, recycle but save anything useful for dusters.

4/ROOM OF DOOM SAY NO MORE!!
5/List at least another 5 things on Eb$y.
