I ordered in plenty of time, iI ordered a couple, (last Wed) wanted to collect from store on Mon 23rd, - couldn't do that as
I'm sorry, but it's Christmas, the busiest time of the year, ordering less than one week before is not ordering in plenty of time, you really need to accept some responsibility for leaving it so late.Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0 -

The sale started on the Wed, the day I ordered, as I said I wanted to collect instore, as I could have collected from the day after in theory, therefore I ddn't leave it late - M+S left it late. If they cant deliver before Xmas don't offer the services.xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
I know everyone has family traditions but you can't really blame m&s - i mean its not as if they knew you always did certain things on christmas eve.
also - and please don't take offence at this - but were you getting wound up because you couldn't do your usual stuff.....is there a chance that your daughter got upset because you were getting wound up ?

I agree with the other posters, you should have ordered earlier if it was a vital present. Bits and pieces, yes, items you absolutely have to have, earlier.0

Just an inkling, but, i get the feeling you're not getting the response some one precious should !
Would one be correct perhaps?0 -
I for one sympathise with you and your daughter. She thinks that things will be done as promised, and it was important to her that a promise was kept by M&S. I also think that it was so important to her to choose and pay for the presents for some special people in her life, that it was unthinkable that she could be let down.0

Bang on. Reminds me once of trying to shut one of the shops I worked in. It was a semi circle shutter, we use to pull it 2/3 of the way round 10 mins before shutting. I has one woman go mental once, she screeched and shouted saying her daughter was scared. All it was was her mum was completely over reacting about a shutter being pulled partly round AND SHE was the one who was upsetting her daughter!!!!!!! Her daughter looked bewildered like she knew some mad case was looking after her.0 -
Aren't these addresses printed by computer from the data the person ordering supplies
so really its a printing error or user error?
There's no manual intervention to slice a number off0 -
